I'm surprised any tim would want to even discuss it. What is there to discuss?

It's just a load of pish dreamt up to give the huns a few cheap laughs. I could understand where you're coming from if there was anyone to discuss it with. But what do you suggest? Calmly telling Rangers fans that they've got it all wrong and would you mind not saying it ever again.

It's a sick joke, there is no logic, evidence or truth to it.

 

i understand where your coming from,but to keep quiet is hard for celtic fans,u got to remember big jock is a * to a lot of folk the man gave thousands of men ,woman and child the best moment in there lives,he also gave hope and belief that no matter who you are you can suceed in life ,remember this was the 1960s ,a time when glasgow folk had nothng except celtic

Why are we not allowed to discuss it? All the information is in the public domain. The folk that came forward are not desperate for money or revenge. Certainly not Brazil, he has enough cash.

I don't think we should not be allowed to talk about child abuse allegations because we find it unpalatable that Celtic are linked with it.

As for the Real radio DJ, * him. He's a *. From what i've heard Jock was the only man who wanted to do something about it and it was our magnificent former board that stopped him.

the guy asked a reasonable question,what it meant,,but for you to say ,,if anyone answers him you will delete it,that must be wrong because once you or [anyone]stops questions and answers then it ceaces to be a forum because then you become a dictator not a moderater

just because your blood boils when this is aired dosent mean everyone else becomes the 3 wise monkeys,you got to remember the remark [jock knew wasent made by some no mark hun on some dodgy website,it was made on pubic national radio

i dident see anyone discussing child abuse and as i said i see your point. i would and i speak for every one here,would be very uncomfortable reading posts on that subject

the jist of this thread was why the radio host said what he said,its a discusting thing to say on radio about any one ,and the guy on here who inocently thought the "jock knew remark" was a good thing,had every right to ask what it meant when he realised it wasent what he thought

real radio incident

can anyone shed any more light on an incident alleged to have happenned on real radio last night.
it is alleged that a dj made a remark inferring that jock stein turned a blind eye to abuse that was going on within the celtic boys club.

thankfully that scumbag was jailed for his offences towards those boys.

but to drag this up again into the spotlight is beyond me.
