Anyone notice he has a much better shot on his left foot but a very, very right footed player :56:?

    Was sensational today btw.

It seems like most of his long range shots that are on target are left footers.

McGeady was the same, always seemed to find the net with his weaker foot.

McGeady had power in his right and placement in his left, even with his crosses.

    Yes he was worth it.

However currently, and I've been this way for a while now, I don't think he should be an automatic starter.

Yeah, Ibrox and St Mirren a few years ago spring to mind.

The one against the huns when he invented the Broony was fantastic.

He is one of our best players. Definetly one of the most important. Automatic starter by a country mile.

I'm going to say no. We wouldn't get 4.4 million for him if we tried to sell him today anyway IMO.

The effort is always there but I don't think he brings as much to the team as others on here do. The ball is always going backwards or side to side with Brown. He lacks the cutting edge to be a playmaker so he has to make up for it with hard work and the fans will always appreciate that so on the whole he's a well liked player. He isn't worth what we paid for him though.

Brown Van * or Forster I'd say.

We did pay over the odds for him but it's definitely been repaid and then some.

This for me aswell. He gets a mountain of praise for things like 'getting in peoples faces' and 'loads of effort'.

For £4.4m, he should have they things plus talent in abundance, but he lacks any major ability on the ball.

Yes and how anyone could say no is beyond me, a loyal player that loves the club and the fans love him. He has that fight and intensity in his game with good technical ability and an engine that goes 110% even with a serious hip injury. We miss him when he's out the team because he drives that midfield and his partnership with Ledley and Mulgrew is brilliant for the team just now.

Some of his passing at times whilst with us in the last 7 years has been extremely poor. He had a period of about 2/3 years where he would consistently misplace easy 10/15 yard passes all the time, didn't understand it at all.

Thankfully he's improved on that recently, and rightly so.
