    Well played Atletico. Their fans were class as well - the home fans seemed silent throughout. Chelsea looked devoid of ideas in the 2nd half. Deserved win over 2 legs - first leg was an eyesore for Chelsea's tactical reasons, 2nd was a good open game.

    I don't mind Mourinho but I can't stand the English media love in. The final was either going to be Madrid rivals Atletico, or ex-manager Jose Mourinho standing in the way of Real getting their 10th European trophy. The latter would've probably been a Jose and English football media love-fest overlooking the Chelsea players' achievements if they'd gotten there.

    Glad we avoided the Mourinho final.

    I've yet to see Diego Costa at that world class level everyone talks about, but I'm sure I'm just catching him on bad days.

    I know they don't get as much praise but their back 4 is outstanding. Especially the 2 centre backs.

    I'd love to see Atletico win it but with Ancelottis experience at this stage and the fact Real are desperate to reach 10 I can't see Atletico doing it, I'll be 100% behind Atletico though.

    My own dilemma is, .....since I despise both Madrid teams .....do I watch it or not??? I was rooting for Bayern after the semis were reached by three other despicable clubs.


    What,s the betting on some kind of calamitous event meaning the cup,s suspended and forfeited by both? Any ideas???



    (Dn,t get me wrong....I don't hate Madrid or anything.....just the teams......ffs my wife is a Madrileña.....she'd cut ma BAWS aff for this post!!!!)
