People say its not fixed yet they went on all yesterday about Atletico not playing Cortouis if they drew each other and suddenly there drawn together today, here's hoping for a Madrid final would be a great game

 

Real will beat Bayern, Ronaldo and Bale will destroy the high line they keep and Pep won't change it.

Barca were very lucky that night, Benzema should have had about 5. The amount of chances they didn't take is very unusual for Real, they are usually nothing if not clinical.

Bayern's high line against both Bale and Ronaldo on the counter would be suicide and we all know Pep sticks to his footballing ideals no matter what. I haven't been really impressed with Bayern in the Champions League this season to be honest, they aren't what they were last year anyway.

 

Hope athletico do it but as long as bayern get pumped I'm happy.

 

Seems unlikely. Atletico need to pay £5million for both games, they've said they wont pay that.

Edit: Just seen Devlin and Rigleybhoy's comments. I was just basing it on the comments coming out of Atletico.

The Atlético president, Enrique Cerezo, has confirmed the existence of a clause in Courtois's deal that would require the club to pay "a big quantity of money" if they wanted the player to face Chelsea, from whom the outstanding 21-year-old is on loan for the third consecutive season.

"The problem if we got Chelsea would be whether Courtois can play or not," Cerezo said. "It is possible that he won't be able to play. Is that in the contract? Yes, of course. I imagine that if he plays, it will need a big quantity of money [to be paid]."


Uefa said in a statement released today: "In response to media reports referring to the situation of Club Atlético de Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, Uefa would like to reiterate its position.
"The integrity of sporting competition is a fundamental principle for Uefa.

"Both the Uefa Champions League and the Uefa Disciplinary Regulations contain clear provisions which strictly forbid any club to exert, or attempt to exert, any influence whatsoever over the players that another club may (or may not) field in a match.

Ah well, got to go with the governing body then. Can't see Mourinho being happy with this one.

 

They can't have been lucky on both occasions this season Bale and Ronaldo have been very poor against big opposition this year IMO,they have yet to win a big game against Barca or Atletico this season I can't see it being any different against Bayern,but I do agree Bayern were more fluent last season Pep seems to have stifled their play

 

Hopefully an Atletico and Real final. That would be superb.

 

Agreed, imagine how up for it Atletico fans would be? It would be class if they were to win that.
