I don't think there is anything wrong with doing that (so long as ST holders got theirs first, fairs fair) but I can understand why the board have done what they have done.

They had it shut for the qualifiers. After seeing that I assumed they had shut it for the CL as well.

In this day and age it baffles me that a club like Celtic don't have a bonus point system for non- season ticket holders to accumulate points for league and cup games attended, ffs even Hearts have got a points system in place meaning the more points you accumulate the higher up the pecking order they are!!

Some people are saying this may increase season tickets sales next term but I'm sure this policy will put alot of punters who attend somewhat meaningless SPL games right off as the club has wrongly stuck two fingers up at non season ticket holders who also pump money into the club yearly!

    Not impressed.:47:

They only closed it as they knew that no more than 55k would turn up as the armchair fans decided to take a night off, saving money for the 3 match package through a friend.:smiley-laughing002:

No one is going to gamble on shelling out money for a season ticket when there is no guarantee of getting into the CL. We have 3 qualifiers again next season. Hopefully we learn from our mistakes this year and get all our transfer business done before the qualifiers start.

Sounds like a similiar set up to where I sit in the North West corner ( in terms of the roof support anyway.) I don't think it should be a great problem they might have to lean a little to either side if the ball is right behind the support but that can happen anyway if you are sat behind some lanky * etc.

I certainly wouldn't be complaining if someone went out of their way to get me this sort of ticket for a big game. I very rarely make midweek games so over the years I have given my ticket to loads of people and no-one has ever mentioned any problem to me.

I'm sure that all the season ticket holders going on about the Morton game will turn up in there droves, I'm expecting it to be at least 50k the way people are goin on about it in here!

Surely the people who know season ticket holders could ask them to buy the packages for them? It's not that big of a deal.

OK, maybe I won't leave it too late then. If I don't find a cheaper option soon, I'll probably go with that.

Are there any legit online ticket brokers that sell UCL tickets?

    That's the problem.

It's become about who you know. A points based system would be a lot fairer.
