You don't know where I'm coming from with refusing to believe they created more chances, when they never?

Their goal was going 2 yards wide before it hit our player and ended up in the net, that wasn't Milan creating a chance and scoring that was a fluke from a * team that were being overpowered at home. You are refusing to accept we outplayed them because you are downbeat about the fact we were beat.

Why did you dignify a response to a response that you believe did not dignify one? :56:

Thought Izzy was good tonight considering. Any problem he had was due to Sammy letting the full back run past him for fun.

Agree with the rest though. (That's two, only one away from being first named) :icon_mrgreen:

I know, im not slating Lennon or anything, I just think that with ten or so minutes left in an away Champions League game, especially given our record, settling for a point would have been my thinking.

It was pretty bold by Lennon and would have worked if Stokes scored given that Pukki won the free kick. Football can be a bit of a mindfuck at times especially at Champions League level.

Neither team dominated the other. It was a close match which was determined by a flukey deflection and a failed clearance.

They created more goal scoring opportunities, get over it. We outplayed them on every part of the park except where it really mattered. There's no shame in that but it's a fact.

Samaras was abysmal tonight. Apart from that wee run and shot he did nothing. He never got much space but the guy looked like he wasn't even trying.

Are some people really trying to make a case that we were not the better team tonight? If there are, then give up as football is clearly not for you.

Because that response to a "response I believed did not dignify one" did itself in fact dignify one. No irony that I can see.

Better and worse are utterly useless terms. Does nobody notice that Italian sides seem to be "lucky" an inordinate amount?

After watching tonight one thing is for sure............ 2nd place is all to play for, we would've got a draw barring an own goal from izzy.

thought the team did ok, not great but I thought Milan weren't great either.

Our bread and butter are our home games, anything on the road is a bonus I feel.

I thought Mathews was amazing apart from his final ball, but we can say that about all the team tonight!

My moment of the match for me was his Messi run forward...:50:

The more I watch him play makes me happy, I just makes me hope that it's just me that notices.

Edit: to much Tabby Tubby I just hope I made sense... :31:

Thought we were gonna do it tonight.Backed the draw at 10/3 with a saver on the win @7/1........and yet ultimately i wasnt bothered about my bet.

Id really like us to treat them with contempt at CP and treat it as a shooting gallery and see the score at the end!

Matthews was great tonight an that run was sensational. I think on several ocassions his final ball was hindered by the rest of the attack not keeping up with him, there were several ocassions he had nobody to aim at.

We needed an aerial threat or a creative player for him to cut back to. His crossing is criticized, and there were some poor ones, but he didn't really have much in the way of targets.
