I think we were mainly unlucky today. IMO we need a good creative midfielder.

 

Why does Lenny persevere with Samaras ? You could see he was having one of his 9 * games out of 10, yet he leaves him on ? Fed up of his constant running down blind alleys, slowing the game down, giving the ball away ! Thought the rest played well .

 

I think there is a lot to be happy with and I think a 0-0 would have been a fair result. The players on the park put in a really good shift but I still think it was clear to see our limitations up front. We dont have a goal scorer and we dont have a real creative midfielder. If we had either of these I think we would have scored as they were there for the taking.

At this level you just need to capitalise on your chances and if you cant take them you are going to get punished. Hard to take but such is life.

 

The stream I watched didn't show what happened, but that's what I expected. Referee's are muppets - the lot of them. They are fooled time after time by blatant cheating, from players that are notorious for it.

Gutted,, matter of inches and we'd have won it. Stokes's hits the bar, they get a lucly deflected shot and then a second when our defence just stood still.

Crosses were poor, every one was either over or under hit
