Champions League: AC Milan vs CELTIC, 18th September 19:45 kick off, live on SS2

Could only hear our supporters singing loud and proud at the end , So unlucky but always had a feeling something flukey would happen. Did not embarrass ouselves however and held our own for most of the game, Sickened by their goals but proud of how celtic played.

 

Ambrose and Virgil are a class together.Matthews positioning was suberb but his delivery was pure.Also Expected better delivery from the likes of mulgrew. If we had more composure upfront we would not have this really harsh score.

Lennon was an * tonight, the guy should be nowhere near managing a team like Celtic.

 

I didn't see anything either but I'm assuming that his silence was an admission of guilt. No protest to the referee and no yelling at Balo for diving. Cheap counterattack goal? Check. Goal off a freekick due to chippiness? Check. The hallmarks of an Italian victory. They do it very well.

 

Seriously, anyone criticising certain players or the manager after that game are having a laugh. The only criticism that can be levelled at the team is that we weren't clinical enough. Matthews final ball was poor, but he put in a * great shift. He was one of the main reasons Milan were sitting back.

Gutting but not dishearting. We can still do something in this group!

Also sammy was really poor tonight. Apart from that one moment of brilliance where he almost scored he was far too quiet, amd when sammy is quiet in these types of games we tend to struggle.

 

Sickening to lose that game, dont think we created enough to win the game barr the free kick but we deserved a draw atleast. Will be a very different game at parkhead.

 

He done nothing. Running shoulder to shoulder, Balotelli went down like a ton of bricks like he'd been doing all game.

We played well but dodo not really create clear chances. Though we would sneak it at one point but no.

 

Team done well, and stuck to the game plan. I've never felt as calm as that in a long time watching us away from home.

Our final ball killed us, I don't know what it was but just about all the players struggled to play the final ball, and that is what killed us.

Made me sick being undone by that deflection. I can remember pirlo scoring a huge deflection of a free kick to beat us a few years ago Aswell.

 

Cutting edge.

 

We aren't the first team to lose like this against an Italian side. It's what they do, it's what they've always done.

Feel disappointed that we didnt take anything away from that game,AC Milan were jammy...
