I hope we go all out attack and get goals. It would be amazing to put the fear into them that they might not qualify quite as easily as they think.

No, we wouldn't. There's no excuse.

Milan, hopefully, won't even make it out of the group stage this season. They were lucky to qualify for the competition in the first place.

One thing I'm happy about is how our previous away hoodoo is pretty much gone. Since Lennon's took charge, our away performances have been largely valiant, if not successful. I really don't know how we're goin to set up. Ledley's a massive miss, and I think we have to play with three central midfielders in Broony, Chico and (?). I would be uneasy with Bo, Sammy, Commons and Stokes/Pukki all playing. Attacking, aye, but away to AC Milan, it's dodgy defensively. I really hope Stokes starts, he deserves it. I can also see Lennon doing something a bit out of the blue, like starting Biton or something.

Would bite your hand off if you offered me 0-0 just now. Looking forward to it though, not long now!

    Quote:
NEIL LENNON last night threw a cloak of secrecy over Celtic’s training session to thwart spies from giving away his gameplan to AC Milan.
The Hoops boss is determined to keep details of his starting line-up, tactics and set-piece drills under wraps ahead of the Group H curtain-raiser tonight at the San Siro.
And Lennon revealed he was so concerned about being watched by prying eyes from the slopes of this famous old San Siro stadium that he had to cut short his final preparations for the clash.
He admits he faces some huge decisions over his selection and hinted that on-fire striker Anthony Stokes – so often the odd-man out on Champions League nights – may be forced back on to the bench.
But while he tried his best to keep everyone guessing last night, Lennon said: “In our minds, we already know what the team is going to be.
“We haven’t really had any time to work on it because yesterday was still a recovery day from Saturday.
“Obviously we will do some light-training tonight but we’ll not give anything away tonight either because I’m sure there will be a lot of people in the stadium looking at it.
“We have a fair idea of how we are going to go about it. We’re just waiting on one or two letting us know how they feel. That might change things a little bit but in the main we know what the team’s going to be.”
Lennon wouldn’t commit when asked if he was attempting to pull some sort of surprise on AC Milan.
But if he does have something up his sleeve he certainly wasn’t about to give the game away last night.
He said: “I’m not necessarily trying to keep something up my sleeve but these things do go on when you train at the stadium.
“When you try to do anything – even like working on set-pieces – it will be fed back more or less straight away. That’s why we’ll be keeping the training very, very light – just a bit of football really.”
And star striker Stokes is also likely to be kept in the dark up until shortly before kick-off time tonight.
When asked yesterday if Stokes – this perennial big-game fall guy – might finally be too much of a threat to leave out of Celtic’s starting line-up, Lennon smiled and said only: “That’s a good question.”
And he repeated the same answer when asked if he is considering starting instead with new boy Teemu Pukki, who made a scoring debut from the bench at the weekend.
Lennon jetted to Turin on Saturday, straight after Pukki had netted in the 3-1 win at Hearts, to watch Milan scrape an unconvincing 2-2 draw at Torino.
A similar result tonight would see Celtic get this latest mission impossible off to a flying start.
The manager said: “A point would be a fantastic result, especially when you consider that our next game is Barcelona at home. So it’s important we try to get something out of this first game.
“The only thing that surprised me about Milan on Saturday night was the change of formation.
“They’ve been quite rigid playing a 4-3-3 but they played a diamond at the weekend. Maybe that was just to combat Torino’s back three, I don’t know.
“People say they might be vulnerable to pace and we’ve got plenty of that so you are hoping to use that to your advantage.
“But, look, what I want is to try to get a foothold in the game and have a fair share of possession. We’ll take it from there.”
Bit worried Stokes might not start (although kind of expected). Hope he does though.
Lenny's not giving anything away at all

Why were we lucky? The lucky ones were mainly the team who beat a kazakh team at last second.

Ledley is a huge miss but a was so impressed way Mulgrew in the central midfield in the two previous games for Scotland that a believe he'll fill that gap no bother. And believe me I've always been agaunst Mulgrew in midfield... Or rather left mid where he's always ineffective.

It'll be intresting to see if Lenny goes with another central mid in Kayal or Biton like the boy above says wouldn't suprise me either if he's good enough. An extra CM would give us better cover . With Commons Samaras and Stokes.

Or just the two in Broon baws and Muldini. With Boerrigter Samaras Commons and Stokes all playing. Which seems to attacking but a favour this tbh, this is a very good time to get something against this mob.

I'm very confident a draw is the least we'll get tonight if we bring our A game. A love us being the underdog.

    My team is

If Ledley is fit then he would be in for Mulgrew who would be moved to left back in place of Izzy. I Was Thinking about Matthews for the right wing but went with Boerrigter in the end.
