I wouldnt say your 2nd or 3rd team man for man are better than us, but you have Ballotelli and Robinho both capable of a moment of magic, no? dont catch many Italian games. So i may be wrong? and is Matri fit?

I'd take Emilio from you guys over Urby. I watched your game vs Hearts last Saturday. Was really impressed with him and Stokes. The weakest point in your team that I could spot was Ambrose. Am I correct to think this?

Sure if they're on their game but we've started the season with the majority of our players in terrible form.

Which is why I've been saying (even before all these injuries cropped up) that you could easily take something from this game back to Scotland. If you saw us in Serie A you'd probably agree with me.

And yes, Matri is fit and sure to start.

 

Anybody know for sure if we're not playing in the Hoops against AC Milan?
There is a clash with the Togs as their kit currently is Red & Black Jersey, White Shorts & black socks

Especially in big European games we should try to wear the Hoops as much as possible, They are our iconic Jersey that are instantly recognisable around Europe. IMO we should wear Black or Green shorts against Milan and keep the Hoops, Hail Hail The Celts Are Here!!

 

He has started the season very well and I'm happy with him playing in Milan. He made a few mistakes v Juventus last season which has been held against him for a while but he's changing the opinion of many, myself included, with his recent performances

 

He just caught me attention because he looked shaky when dealing with a couple of 1-on-1s. Didn't look very sure footed in certain situations.

Didn't know he was the one who made the mistakes against Juve, so this is a judgement that's mostly coming from watching 1 game. I know that isn't a very good basis for assessment but him, Stokes and Emilio (can't spell his last name) caught my eye.

 

Celtic have to give this game a right good bash, especially with milan lacking with first team choices in defence and the absence of el shaarawy, montolivo, pazzini and kaka. this is the best chance we have had at the San Siro, so lets see Celtic go all out. nothing to lose as we arent favourites anyway...

 

What are the odds on Ac Milan's strongest team strolling out having made a miraculous recovery? Bet Kaka & Co start. Pure mind games.

Also, even without a few first team players they are still quality.

 

I wasn't necessarily meaning left back mate just with his versatility and style he would be pushing for a first team start somewhere..

Ambrose for Milan will probably be singled out as a weak link especially if matri has his say..
But he has come back strong and is looking good alongside van dijk..

I'm hoping he doesn't make a costly mistake Wednesday,I have a feeling he will be targeted in terms of trying to bully by balloteli/matri..

Read Uefa's fact file for the game....AC Milan have never lost by more than 2-0 at home in their European Cup/CL history. Quite impressive and shows just how big a task this group is.

 

We are talking about an Italian football team though, not exactly the most trustworthy.

Still feel we're being lured in to a false sense of security.
