    Id guess

    Abbiati
    Zaccardo Mexes Zapata Emanuelson
    De Jong
    Nocerino Muntari
    Kaka Robinho
    Balotelli

If everyone was fit for them they'd probably have played

    Abbiati
    Abate Mexes Zapata De Sciglio
    De Jong
    Montolivo Poli
    Kaka El Shaarawy
    Balotelli

If Kaka is missing they'll probably play Matri.

Left back can get got at there, whether it's Urby or Constant. Constant I don't rate in the slightest and Urby tends to leave a lot of gaps behind him.

He's a player whose got a lot of talent but has never figured out which position he can play.

I didn't say I rated Pukki in europe ! there's only one way to find out.If stokes gets the nod then I hope he can prove me wrong but I still beleive he's a spl quality striker...playing a good game against a weak hearts youth team is a whole different ball game to going away to the san siro to play ac in the champs league !

Looking good for us. How many times has Kaka scored against us? Can think of the one that knocked us out of the Last 16 and a penalty at Parkhead when we beat them 2-1? Think he's done it more than that though?

I won't be getting too excited about Kaka not making it. Not taking into account the fact he's a shadow of the player he was, he's nowhere near match fit and is not aware of Milan's system or his team mates. He looked lost at times against Torino.

Matri is a much bigger threat at this point.

Kaka still has that bit of magic though. When they are struggling to field creative players then it's a big plus.

Matri is a threat though, he'll be in no doubt he can do to us what he done last season.

Quite difficult to predict our starting line up to be honest. I've been going over it all day and still can't come to a full conclusion on what it should be.

Also just saw that Kaka isn't taking any pay until he gets back to full fitness. Tell you what, you have to admire the guy. He's probably the least egotistical superstar out there.

Kaka is out, so Matri next to Balotelli instead and it's spot on

Constant is better defensively as he doesn't rush forward like Urby does.

And yeah, he does tend to have a bit of an identity crises in terms of what his best position is. Ideally he'd be fielded at LWB but we don't use wing backs. Having said that his positional issues stem from the fact that our coach has played him at LB, CM, RW and AM. :31:

Lennon has a tough job picking the team. Stokes is on-form so surely deserves a place, and Sammy obviously needs to play. But what about Pukki?

Constant I don't rate at all, granted I've only seen him play 5 or 6 times but he seems all over the place and gives away petulant wee fouls when things aren't going his way. If he plays I'd be running at his side of the pitch. If it's Urby Emanuelson I'd be watching out for spaces in behind him.

I don't think it's just Allegri that has had that problem with him by the way; he seems to have been used that way his full career, from Ajax to Milan and even when he was on loan at Fulham last year, he is always a stop gap in multiple positions.

Rather like our own Charlie Mulgrew in that respect; however while Mulgrew hasn't got the same sort of talent as Emanuelson he is a clever enough footballer to know where he is supposed to be on the pitch at all times.

I would play Pukki over Stokes against Milan as I think he will be better suited to the type of game we are likely to be forced into playing. I like Stokes but unfortunately I think he is useless when we are up against a team where we are expected to be defending more often than not.

That's not to say he doesn't work hard because he does, but when we are attacking Pukki is better at holding the ball up and is much quicker than Stokes.

Also, although Pukki hasn't got much experience in the Champions League he does play regularly for Finland who on most occasions play teams who are of a higher standard due to Finlands low seeding. He is used to being up there on his own against higher quality opposition - Stokes isn't.

Every time I've seen Stokes up front against a team when we are on the back foot (even against the old Rangers) he hasn't filled me with confidence.

I understand he is capable of some brilliant moments and is on a great run of form, but football is about picking the right team to get the job done for specific matches and on this occasion I think Pukki is much better suited than Stokes.

Do the people saying Pukki is better suited actually know how he plays? I know I can't judge that from 20 minutes against Hearts?

Constant was part of the defence that did not allow Barca one shot on target at the San Siro last season and he was given a permanent contract after what he did at LB last season with us. I personally rate him as better than Urby when talking about the LB position. Ideally neither would be playing but if I'd had to pick the lesser of 2 evils Constant would win it for me hands down as Urby is just too erratic. Against Torini he made Cerci look like a top class player with the amount of space he left him to run into.

Yeah, he is a bit of a Jack of all trades. Decent at doing multiple things but not great at doing one thing specifically. Him being deployed as a trequartista and right winger was the epitome of Allegri "genius" though, nothing else

Having seen a wee bit of him at Schalke he is decent with his back to goal and has good link up play. He also has the pace to get in behind the defence. I think pace is our best chance of getting anything from the game as AC lack it all over the pitch. If Stokes plays I won't be too disappointed. He'll work hard, try his best and potentially cause them some problems. I just think for the type of game Pukki is a better option.

Too much too soon for Pukki imo. Will definitely see him come off the bench at some point. It'd be unfair on Stokes tbh. He has deserved his shot in the CL. I think he'll give Milan some real problems if he doesn't try too hard.
