Its certainly not as daunting looking at that line up compared to what it used to be.

Even though Mulgrew shouldn't play (Ambrose/Virgil are better defenders, Brown/Ledley are better midfielders, Commons/Stokes/Virgil can take set pieces) he probably will, instead of Stokes.

He's been grand apart from his final ball. (well apart from that cross for van Dijk. Excellent)

Milan very lucky to get a draw, dodgy penalty at the end.

    We can take these *

Exactly my thoughts. We've beaten a better Milan side before. Whilst a win may be a tad ambitious, I think a draw is certainly within our grasp.

Well if there ever was a time to beat us this is it. Shocking performance tonight.

No it was not a dodgy penalty. Poli was clearly brought down, Torino weren't complaining about the penalty decision but about a player who was down injured and they wanted to make a sub but we threw the ball back into play without waiting for them to change players so they were complaining to the ref for not letting them make the sub.

It was a lucky win, no doubt, but both goals were correct. Balotelli also missed a big chance from point blank range so it could have gone either way really.

Just saw that they drew 2-2 with Torino tonight and it was a penalty in the 93rd minute that drew them level.

Does anybody think we are a poorer side than Torino? Certainly gives me renewed confidence heading into the Milan games.

Take Milans draw lightly. Remember last season we drew 2-2 with Dundee United before we beat Barcelona.

I don't think they're better than you guys but they do have a couple of good players, Immobile and Cerci being the 2 most prominent names.

We were lucky tonight but both goals were correct. Plus we were playing a completely different system tonight plus having to compensate for the injured players we have as well.

Not to mention Montolivo picked up a knock so he might miss the game as well. Poli can fill in for him without too much trouble though

I'm just pointing out that there are potentially six points up for grabs in the Milan games, as they are hardly invincible and were almost beaten by a rather average Serie A side tonight.

Of course it will be different in the San Siro, but even then, we are more than capable of causing an upset or two.

I don't think Milan are a particularly great team but Montolivo is a genuine class act. What a boost that would be if he's out.

The likes of Constant, Muntari, Emanuelson etc don't scare me. I do think you have some top players - Balotelli, Abate, De Sciglio, Montolivo etc but I do think you have a few that really shouldn't be there and are maybe cheap options to allow you to keep hold of the top class ones.
