Anybody who hasn't found a club yet tends to have a screw loose either in their heid or in their leg somewhere. Caprica's not the best - bit of a Lassad type player.

Rogic wont play if we have a clean bill of health amougst the team. Mcgeouch will hardly get a sniff and if he does he will play out wide. Bitton is unproven and it sounds like he will play as a deep lying midfielder. If we lose either Commons or Stokes then i worry where our creativity and goals will come from as so often now both have pulled us out of some tough positions.

I think we did well getting Pukki in, I've seen him and he looks good. I think Boerigter could be excellent but Im starting to believe in this theory that he's an injury merchant. Big Balde might come onto a game but someone has to miss out in attack and it wont be Stokes or Commons, and he'll definetley play Samaras in Europe if he's fit. So they cant all get a game. But Lennon has strengthened his squad well, the only problem was that the board wasn't going to back him until he qualified for the CL

What also should be taken into account is the money made from last years champions league run, which could be in excess of £10m.. I think that we should have bought a couple more players to give us more strength in depth. Im curious as to where the profit we have been made will go..

failure by board to back manager they cant make the next step im sick and tired of hearing pl saying we would spend this and that on players.we got thro cl by skin of our teeth against poor teams.cb,creative midf and another striker but nothing.these 2 or 3 extra players really would have strenghthened us.

We should have brought in a couple more yes, but our chief exec is not a football man, he is only intrested in the top shareholders.

I remember a time when chief execs were hated at our club, changed days in modern football and some of the modern day fans...:54:

Should Chief execs be hated for doing their job?

    I agree 100% :50:

What I dont understand about Celtic is that we go to a team like Peterborough at the last minute to try and buy a stiker. So you would think that means we have seen something in the guy that others are missing and think he is really good value. So why in the world do make make a couple of * offers of £1.2m the afternoon before deadline and then give up? What is the logic there?

Either we have scoted this guy for months, delayed to the last day possible, then refused to go a penny over £1.2m or so. Which doesnt make any sense whatsoever if we have done our homework and we rate him. Or we were panicked into saving some sort of face and thought bringing in a random player on the cheap for the sheer * of it would appease fans. Which doesnt make sense either as he is an unknown from a poor league 1 side.

The whole window just has the feel of being utterly shambolic.

Well, I was glad we got Balde, Van Dijk and Mouyokolo in early doors. The positions/player types we needed going into the new season.

Happy with Boerrigter, Biton and Pukki. But a bit disappointed we left it so late with the last two. A risky game I don't think we really needed to play given the money received early in the window for Hooper & Wanyama.

Frankly, I find it a bit embarrassing the way we scrambled around on the final day for a full-back and another striker. If we know we needed them, get it done ASAP.

I think a lot of us felt we had more money to spend than we eventually did. Another season of Champions League revenue won't do next seasons budget any harm, though.

Confident the squad will win the League, and hopefully a Cup, and confident they can be competitive in the Champions League again.
