Deadline Day Disapointment (again)

3 strikers I think lennons been let down. He asked for support and the only signings he got were the ones that were already in motion. The fact we are going ahead with 3 strikers is frightening. Even more frightening is that only stokes had a decent goalscoring record and that record is no where near Hoopers.

 

Do people seriously still expect a marquee signing every window... *. I cant remember a single player never mind a window that half the people on here were disappointed by.
Same * is talked about every signing not prooven quality couldnt get a game bla bla bla. Judge this guys in the hoops and trust Lennon. His transfer record is good, a whole lot better than predessesors.
If we got Neymar there would be moaners on here * that we didnt get Messi

Lennon got plenty players in.

 

Van Djik looks an even better player tbh

 

He was our only defender who didn't fancy himself as a midfielder.

So that means an injury to Stokes/Pukki/Balde and we're left with 2 recognised first team strikers. (Samaras shouldn't be included as a striker, that's clutching at straws. Atajic is also just a youth player currently)

Disappointed doesn't cover it.

4 strikers have left (Lassad, Miku, Watt and Hooper)

2 strikers in (Balde and Pukki)

 

Ah well we will have to deal with what we have, I am sure if Lennon thought he could get better quality for the right price they would be here.

But I am disappointed we never pushed the boat out for a big signing the fans deserved to see.

Just waiting for Robbie Keane to be paraded at Celtic park in 20 minutes time..............

if bitons as good as wanyama and pukki is better than hooper and will score the same ammount of goals then i agree but we will just have to wait and see

p.s. to the above poster, no Celtic fan wanted a 'marquee signing'. Just a goal scorer that we are more than capable of signing with the fortunes we've made in the past 12 months.
