so we're blocked from doing some end-of-window loan deals cos of those zombie b*st*rds.
you'd think as scotland's only representatives in Europe, they'd be more sympathetic to our dilemma than sticking it to sevco.

    ah well... :bbpd:

I sincerely hope this isn't true. There is simply no way we can go through a season with 3 strikers (Balde, Pukki and Stokes), and only one with a decent scoring record in Stokes. We clearly lack that predatory box striker.

And please no one mention Samaras as a striker as he isn't.

We'll just have to make the best of what we have, players from more areas of the pitch are going to have to chip in with more goals.

I'm not too disappointed. If we made a few panic buys then in the long run that is bad for us.

We will just have to make do with what we have, and these players deserve the Champions League games, they have put in the work and effort to get us there.

I'd be * if Lee fecking Tomlin came in and took my place in the team!

We must be signing another striker if that's Watt and Atajic put out on loan.

Don't know what all the gripes are about. We've done pretty decent business in the transfer market this season and what about the youngsters coming through, for me we've signed too many tbh. Prob won't sit well with a lot of you but my philosophy would be to bring the youngsters on as much as possible especially considering the domestic scene is a cakewalk and Europe is a bonus. When if ever will atajic, watt, Irvine, twardziks get heir chance??? It's always in fits n starts they'll never get regular game time. Watt being farmed out is exactly as I predicted and in my opinion he's no worse than the lad we've just splashed 3mill on. This ties in with a wider argument i have about the way our club is going and what we need to do in order to compete regularly at the end stages of European competitions but that's for another day.

To be honest if any of the youth coming through the ranks were good enough they would get their chance. Tony Watt for instance has played a fair few games and has been disappointing in my opinion. I don't think McGeouch will make it at Celtic either but I could be wrong. I mean when's the last time we produced a good player? James Forrest is a regular now but again I don't rate him as a player and I think he's been poor for some time now. I would love to see more homegrown players breaking through but I think the reason they haven't is they simply aren't good enough.
