    Would expect another striker in then. Having lost lassad miku watt and hooper. We have replaced them with Pukki and balde with the only other recognised striker being stokes. Doesn't really fill me with confidence. We still need a goalscorer. I purposely didn't include samaras as he's more much more effective as a winger.

    Biton will help cover the void of Wanyama.

    Mouyo and Virgil more than cover for Wilson.

    Plus we have signed Derk - we have been craving for an out-and-out LW for a long time now.

    The Huns transfer embargo is lifted on the 1st of September not the end of the window - if moved back the would have 1 day in which to buy players making an even bigger fool of the SFA.

    Officially because the SFA say Saturday counts as a working day. My opinion is they * up when giving Sevco the registration embargo and only realised it after they did so and didn't want to be slaughtered by all for helping them out again.

    Pukki and Balde essentially replace the roles Miku and Lassad were purchased for last summer.

    Agreed re Biton, no qualms there.

    Van Dijk was meant to partner Wilson, thus with Wilson's departure we still need to replace Wilson. Mouyokolo basically replaces Rogne. Not to mention Gershon wasn't permanently signed.

    Agreed re Boerrigter.

    I'm not that bothered if we don't sign a deputy left back but we still lack a dominating centre back and need a penalty box striker. I could just about accept going with what we've got in the defence, if we adequately replaced Hooper's void in the starting 11. That looks very unlikely to happen now and Lee Tomlin is woefully short of what we need in any area of the pitch. 3 and a half hours to go, let's see what occurs.

    That can't be right - who spends near enough £5mil to replace 2 squad players? (one in on loan)

    Stokes and Watt take their place (even if Watt leaves) - for me Pukki is now our no.1 striker with Balde and Stokes offering the 2 differing options off of the bench.

    Would also say that with Derk's signing Mulgrew is no longer needed to cover on the left - he and Lustig will replace Rogne and Gershon.

    For me that leaves Virgil and Mouyo covering as Wilson leaving will have been known at the start of the window.
