He must of been Red Imps most successful passer last night. Another utterly abject display. They must play with no tackles in training because that's the only way this shyster can look decent enough to get a start on a matchday. How anyone can think that he's a greater contributer to our first team than McGregor is beyond me. Punt him please.

People are going way ott with Bitton here don't care what anyone says, the guy was winning the ball back and keeping possession, nothing fancy from the big man no defence splitting passes last night but he was nowhere near as bad as is being made out. He appears laid back that's just his style, he still wins back the ball and recycles possession but I will say he did get a bit sloppy in some patches of the game with under hit passes or conceding possession, a lot of that though comes down to the pitch because that's not a usual characteristic of the big man. When you're playing next to Scott Brown in midfield you're always going to struggle to make things happen alongside him, basically having to do the work of two players in the middle with Brown.

Anyway, most appear to have lost faith and don't like the guy but I still have absolute faith that the big man will recapture form and prove the quality he has. You don't get teams bidding £6M for a player if they're convinced he's absolutely pish, I don't see anyone banging the door down for most of our other players?

Went off my nut when he was too lazy to go after Griff's rebound.

You forgetting Brown against Sevco last season already? Or how about Mulgrew against Legia away?

    Come on man.

He bottled the Rangers game just didn't fancy it at all shame really he was the next big money player to leave us imo we'd be lucky to get 4 million now

No he didn't, that's crazy talk.

Brown singlehandedly practically cost us the Sevco game by missing a guilt edged opportunity to put us 1-0 up, then setting up their first with a lazy lunge, getting done and not closing down for their second and then to top it off by missing the penalty. All this whilst getting bullied by the * Halliday and passed off the park.

Mulgrew singlehandedly practically cost us the Legia tie almost on his own as well. In that first leg he played a hand in all 4 goals conceded, he was also at fault for Efe getting his red card with his slack pass to Efe and he also gave away TWO penalties in ONE game. The only other player I can think of to have done that is Kieth Lasley.

Agree with this. I think playing him centre half in the second leg would have been an option but I don't trust him to follow their strikers runs.

In the space of a couple of days I've went from rating him and wanting £10m to now wanting him punted.

I was kind of ignoring his performances last season hoping he had changed. But no.

So many cowards in this side.

  15. Going by the comments in this thread, I'm going to say Nir Bitton is the most underrated player in our squad.

Same, but I feel like I might be overreacting :smiley-laughing002:

Yesterday I genuinely wanted half of that team punted ASAP. Bitton and Brown were cowardly, but we know they're not bad players and hopefully, HOPEFULLY, Rodgers can eventually get the best out of them

I didn't want Rogic punted though. My love for him is getting a bit weird :smiley-laughing002:

    Thing is I don't think I am.

Watching him saunter about that park infuriated me:smiley-laughing002:

If we can get decent money for him I'd definitely take it now. I do still believe he has talent but he just does not look interested and I'm sick of watching teams play through us with ease. Midfield, the one area where we have depth, is pish:smiley-laughing002:

I want players who are actually interested in playing for us, I can't honestly say that I believe he is, now.

Still don't want him sold even after that.
We have nothing better than a lazy shitebag * that passes the ball at snail pace and shots end up in the upper tier or barely make it to the keeper ,in centre mid

Bitton should have played his last game for us after his antics against Sevco. Wanting off holding his hamstring when we were 2-1 down, but couldn't as we had made all our subs, then miraculously recovering after we equalised. Tells you all you need to know about his character. He isn't the only one in this team though, most of this side are gutless and cannot be trusted in my opinion. This was blamed on Deila by a lot of people on here, but I think the other night should proved it's far more to do with the players, than the manager.

Whilst I agree with most of what you said, Deila continued to pick -and signed many of! - these players despite regularly turning in the gutless performances. Therefore he was just as culpable.
