    I know. I understand there are obviously issues with him off the park and at training and things like that. I always thought Tony offered something a bit different, a bit like a good old fashioned 1960s striker. Direct, fast, strong and skillful, but I guess it wasn't to be. I suppose it just annoyed me that we sold him and had guys like Pukki, Balde, Scepovic rattling about when they all cost a good bit more than him.

    Griffiths was a bit of an * off the pitch when he got here as well, was controversial on the pitch at times too but there was something there and we seemed to iron it out of him, of course Griffiths worked his * off as well.

    But yeah something about the whole Tony Watt thing just upsets me a bit, feel like he could have been something really special here, but it wasn't to be.

    According to Wiki(I know it's not 100% accurate) states he's scored 3 goals in 3 games this season, attitude problem again at Charlton?

    Last time I heard about him the Charlton fans loved him. Maybe his attitude getting in the way again if he's been loaned out.

    He's an *.

    Think the manager said he's not fit enough to start a game.

    Unbelievable.

    Imagine having the chance he had at being a hero at Celtic and throwing it all away, to the point that Charlton are shipping you out on loan. He needs to grow up.

    Such a talent gone to waste. Had pace, skill, finishing and work rate while on the pitch. Decent physique as well.

    Aye because he is very talented. Bit of work ethic (which he shows in bounds actually on the pitch) and he'd be * sorted

    Yep. Had all the tool's to really be a top striker..

    Have Charlton no recently changed manager? Anyway, he's actually gone to a better/bigger club who are doing better....that would be a plus in anyone's book, although in dafty Watt's, it's seemingly for all the wrong reasons..

    I honestly thought that he'd be the one taking over after Hooper at one point. How silly I was.

    Always found that bizarre, how could you possibly not be fit when you are training 5 or 6 days a week and playing 90 minutes of football on top of that?

    Didn't see this before but apparently there are some allegations as to a possible fraud in his transfer from Standard Liege to Charlton, the details seem a bit hazy but seems it has to do with the fact that both clubs are owned by the same person/company and whether the money changed hands properly when he was sold between the two teams.

    Nope, he's been out for almost a month with a calf injury and hasn't been able to find the form he had since returning.

    In his own words;

    And this write-up is from the Deputy Sports Editor of the South London Press upon his arrival at Cardiff;

    His loan deal allows him to feature in a maximum of ten league games for Cardiff apparently.

    He'll be fit compared to us. It's fit enough to play at that level, he obviously doesn't bother his * to get into that condition.

    Well that clears a lot of that up then..

    He's still got time on his hand's to do something. If he fully matures then he'll only get better with age as his raw strength is really good, I've seen him dominate plenty of old pro's north and south of the border. I don't agree with him not being good in the air, I think he's decent in that department and I agree he's not lightning quick but still really pacey..

    Has all the tool's still..

    It appears that he's suffered from a niggling calf injury and hasn't managed to regain the form he was in earlier in the season.

    He's made ten starts for Charlton this season out of their seventeen league games, and finished seven of those games, only being taken off three times (never played less than an hour each time), and was a sub three times, so it's not as if he's been dropped all that much or whatever.

    Maybe best to actually check the facts before deciding that he's not starting games, needs to grow up and other such nonsense.
