hopefully the loan move gets him game time, goals and a world of good which so far is happening. he'll come back a much better player and hopefully Lierse look to bring more of our youngsters over on loan.

he needs to knuckle down to have a big future for us.

more of youngsters should be farmed out and get the game time they need to fully develop imo.

Glad he is getting game time now and he will get goals, Still think he is the next big thing to come through from the youth side.

Just hope Lennon will give him a chance when his loan is finished.

This, he's away on loan to get himself some experience and to grow up into a better footballer. I think here he was always going to be "Wee Tony Watt" - who rescued us at Motherwell on his debut with a double and who came on against the best team in the world, put the * up them and scored one of the most memorable goals in our history.

Over there not much is known about him but as we can see by the start he has made over there already he will quickly become relied upon at Lierse and he will grow up as a loanee, in a different country, with a responsibility on his shoulders. Instead of playing here every now and again, with the fans fully behind him due to his standing with the Celtic support. That is a way you can stagnate and I think this was a big part of Neil Lennon's thinking in sending him abroad.

I can't wait to see him when he gets back, he has all the talent to be a top player and he is still very, very young. It's a very exciting prospect that is on our hands, who no doubt could be used with us just now but it will do him better to get a full season of football under his belt, so we will be better with him at us in the future.

Can't believe we let him out on loan tbh. He may have made the difference last night instead of Derk B.

I dont think anyone hinted Watt was fat, he's one of our fittest players. What they were probably talking about was his diet and off field stuff - probable boozing and eating McDonalds and poor work rate in training, that that could be better, he should settle down and be more professional. PS. I dont know if he does booze a lot and eat McDonalds but being a Scottish teenager he probably does in comparison to other players like Big Balde, Van Dijk, Rogic etc who probably eat much healthier and dont booze as much.

    This^.

There is a superb player in Watt and this moves is going to get the best out of him. A believe this loan decision will turn out to be an excellent decision that both Celtic and Watt will benifit from massivley when he returns.

I'll wager that he's score an absolute shitload of goals over there. I still think he's the best goalscorer that Celtic have on their books.

Just a shame he isn't being given the chance to put the ball in the net for us.
