As fans, we absolutely NEED Champions League football. For that reason I'm going to put aside any criticisms I have for the board and their signing policy (and I have a few) until the tie is over. The team needs the support of a big crowd if they're going to do this. Our season depends on it.

It's not just Lawwell though its the club in general, they don't seen to realise you need fans who turn up and watch the team, now I mentioned team if the team isn't cutting it then a lot of those fans won't turn up,if you look at our attendances pre Fergus and the new stadium this is clear,it's simple give us a team suitable of our jersey and surroundings and they will come

I agree, the fans need something to excite them, even the best fans in the world. I remember the tommy burns, although we never win the league the stafium was packed. Fans were full of optimism and hope. We could always look forward to entertaining displays with attacking intent. Although fergus didnt break the bank we always had good strikers. We would we have given for a hoijdonk, a cadete, or indeed a hartson or sutton lastnite.
We need a few decent signings and a more attractive enthusiastic style of play

Really hope ticket sales pick up over the next week as still seats available for every section plus the LL upper is closed for that game at the moment.

I'm being realistic in saying I think there will be around 50k next week which isn't too shabby but this games to important for Celtic supporters to side swerve.

Comon guys get a ticket if you haven't already, could really make the difference!!!

    Hail hail!

Full house or not the atmosphere will be dire.

No one in the Jock Stein stand, or any other stand, is going to stand up on their own and start a song off.

    Disagree with this post.

I use to have a season ticket jock stein upper a few seasons back and I agree it was very quiet most SPL matchdays but come a champions league game or qualifier everybody changed and became more supportive and vocal so I will go against your comment and say Parkhead will be rocking Pre kick off and even more so when we score an early goal!

A few years ago the Green Brigade was still there.

They made a huge difference. No one will have the balls to stand up on their own and start a song off.

Take your point about green brigade but no way the atmosphere will be dire.

Do you think it'll put people off going thinking it'll be dire? Are you going?

    I'm going.

It won't put people off, just a full house is pretty irrelevant unless there is an atmosphere, which, in my opinion, there won't be.

I'm going and for at least 90 minutes I will give the team absolute support. But I see no reason to think it will be a sell out. A lot of people I know who would usually go have just had enough and aren't bothering. But I'm sure those there will make a not of noise and if we can get an early goal I think the place will be buzzing.

I may spend all week being negative on here but at least when I'm there I will be 100% positive. I'm sure most people will feel the same

The club has let us down hugely on and off the park so why should we go? We will though and they * know it.
