    This is Shalke's third choice striker by the look of it. If Shalke are of a similar standard to Celtic this is similar to signing another Tony Watt and probably shy of a Tony Stokes. Not really very inspiring. Certainly nothing like adequate for the Champions League. If we don't make the CL I'd rather see some youngsters get a crack or try to find a real jem through the scouting system. Bit of a waste of £3m really. Bit like buying a second used ford mondeo because its a different colour - what's the point? I predict that if he comes he'll do little more than warm the bench in parkhead.

    Schalke have a much, much better squad than we do mate, (nothing wrong with being behind Huntelaar in the pecking order) and it's been done to death, but his goals to minutes ratio is excellent.
