There's been a giant Hooper-shaped hole on the pitch in every game this season. You can tell Commons especially just doesn't know what the * to do with himself.
Him and Hooper were proper bumboys on and off the pitch, their chemistry and intelligence was great and made us probably 25% of our goals.

Now, Commons is still by far our most creative player but he's got * all movement around him, he's always dropping into spaces and "in the hole" but whenever he picks it up and looks to thread a through ball in, he's only got either Anthony "offside" Stokes or Georgios "Hands on hips with gormless look in eye" Samaras in front of him

 

Eager for the second leg. It should be interesting to see how this wee mob cope in front of 50,000 screaming Celtic fans and wave after wave of attack on the field. Roll on the 28th .

 

People keep mentioning these 50,000 screaming fans but in reality it'll be about 40,000 clapping and sitting with their arms folded, 7,000 taking advantage of the free * Wifi and about 3,000 passionate fans scattered around the park.

 

Aye it a sickening sight watching Samaras up front with a face like a paralyzed dug, just standing waiting for the ball to get to him never once realising that * are raging hes doing fuckall.

Commons was fuming throughout the game last night as were Brown, Ledley and Izaguirre even Forrest. They were all moaning like * and it was because they couldnt get through that mob as nocunt was doing anything(nocunt being really Mulgrew and Samaras and even Lustig who rarely came forward).

I remember always saying to people who werent bothered about Hooper going that Hooper is the main playmaker in the team as well as goalscorer and his movement is a reason the midfield are scoring a lot of goals etc and he'll be badly missed. Yet people were saying "I dont rate him that highly hes no better than Stokes, Higdon scored more SPL goals etc" jesus * christ

If Hooper was in the team against a diddy mob like this his presance alone dragging them about taking the ball off the midfield and speeding up play we'd be guarenteed atleast 3 goals against them, without him we dont even know if we will score

 

That's just bullshit. I take it you've never been to a Champions League game at Celtic Park? It'll be bouncing, especially if we take the lead.

All I'm saying is that when your own board rips the soul of your atmosphere from their own section and scatters them all over the ground, things are going to struggle. That, in addition to the negativity flying around at the minute, makes me think this won't have the 'Champions League night' feel to it.

I hope to * I'm proven wrong, because otherwise, I don't see us playing in the CL past Wednesday.

 

When the Champions League music rings around Celtic Park the place is rocking no matter the situation or opposition, I'v never seen anything less. We had amazing atmospheres before the Green Brigade and will continue to get them long after.

 

I agree it's like this for a lot of games now at CP but not a CL play off.

 

It's my first champions league game, so I hope it will be bouncing before YNWA comes on! As I will be greeting through that, then singing my heart out for the full 90 minutes and more if needed!

 

Aye you're right mate, I'm just down as * about everything Celtic right now but to expect that from such a big game is pretty stupid.

Just hope to * the atmosphere makes their bottle crash (which it has done to much better teams than Karagandy). This is our most important game for years IMO, more so than Barca & Juventus. A season without CL football after last season is unthinkable. Be devastating if they're the ones celebrating at the end, it's a bonus for them and essential for us.

Can't wait for next Wednesday to come along now, seems an eternity away. Would be more euphoric than reaching the Last 16 if we manage to turn this around I reckon.

 

We'll be fine as long as we play a striker who knows how to link up with his team-mates.

We did the same vs Bacelona and there fans said we played anti football, it's what teams do when facing stronger sides.

Shakter would finish 2-3rd in the SPL.

 

I wasn't focusing on the anti-football, more on the insane amount of hoofs up the park they were doing, horrible brand of football unlike anything I'v seen before.
