Actually it's a common mistake. There are no set European borders. So the first argument is not completely true, even though it has been use by many people, also teachers to be able to explain where Europe starts and ends. Europe is probably more righteous defined by other aspects together with geopgraphy, like cultural, historical and economical terms (the EU from 1950 and onwards). For me Kazakstan is not a country in Europe (it's unfortunatly in between two continents), but I have no problems of them competing in UEFA as you mention part number two, as they have made many exceptions and have not fully defined where or what country can apply. This is how it is at the moment and we will have to deal with it.

    Good luck!

From what I've heard of this team, Mouyokolo's physical presence would be useful.

Shakhter Karagandy, Celtic's Champions League opponents on Tuesday, rested their entire first XI at the weekend and won

They taking this very serious. We played our first eleven and these guys had weekend off and no 7 hour flight to deal with

:86:I see your point. Partly agree. There is a whole bunch of metrics that could be used to define Europe (historical, cultural, economical community and homogeniety).

Physically, even though some claim Europe's borders are undefined, usually the frontiers that I described are taught as European continent borders in academia.

Let's not carry on this discussion. Generally, I got your points, and you seem to be getting what I was trying to say.:50:

hopefully Karganday will be oot of europe in the fitba sense......

apart from that i don't care though feel sorry for fans who like to travel to away games..something the governing bodies don't take into consideration.

no away trip should cost more than 200 euro including the match ticket

Im unsure about this game like. We don't know anything much about this team at all. They could be pish, or quite good. We wont know until we play the first leg. We're lucky the second leg is at home because I wouldn't like to be going across there needing a result

No worries! Celtic is much stronger side than us. We will just be in defence almost whole team and hope for counter-attack.:87:

I think we are going to do this the hard way, i.e., getting beat in Kazakhstan and having to do the job at Celtic Park.

No idea how this game is going to go. I assume they'll have to come at us at some point being at home - you'd have to think they don't fancy their chances at Celtic Park so they'll have to take something at home.

I'd play it safe and keep it tight at the back. When they do come out, punish them.

I can't see it being a good game. Couldn't care less about that anyway !

We need to get a goal over there. Anyone can score at Celtic Park. Look at Helsinki. They shocked a lot of people by taking the lead. I think we will go through but it will no doubt be another nail biting affair.

Surly the following must be a 'Wind Up', if somehow true, it sounds a bit 'satanic' to me

"The visiting media were taken aback by the revelation that the Kazakhstan club had again killed a sheep in order to bring them good luck.
The sacrifice took place at the stadium before the players trained but Kumykov played it down.
"This is a play-off round and we decided not to break this tradition," he explained.
"It is quite important for us. I would not like to disclose in detail."

He he ))) no, my friend. this is not satanic. no worries. it is like sacrifice. but this is more Club's tradition. They don't just sacrifice a sheep. they usually spread meat meals made of it among poor. We all eat meat, don't we? ) pigs, chicken, sheep, cow... So this should not be smth savage and scary to you ;)

Nope, anyone can't. Which is the reason that is the only goal we have conceded in 8 qualifying games.

No doubts Lennon is pushing for that deadline, I know we have a team more than capable of getting through this. Hopefully fatigue etc...will be minimal and we will have a good squad available.

If the rumours about their physical approach are true, Mulgrew will play in midfield and add a bit of height. Means Lennon effectively has 3 central defenders on the park for set pieces, to add to Lustig, Ledley and Samaras.
