This thread is a absolute joke the guy has put in place a fantastic business model that many clubs would love to emulate and due to the the closing of section 111 people on this forum want rid of him, people need to remember without him we wouldn't be In the position to reduce season ticket prices or have seen Lennon assemble this current squad or the few that just left.
Also when you consider we got the fair play award in Seville to 3 fines in two years from uefa for fan behaviour and the unsavoury banner for Remembrance Day, I feel that although the green brigade bring alot to the club , Lawells job is to protect the finances and reputation of the club and if he feels the gb are harming either then he is right in his disbandment from a business point of veiw,
But at the same time these people are still in the stadium so can still have a positive effect on atmosphere but maybe it's about time other sections step up and create an atmosphere

Well i dint mean the celtic fans would go wild and raise the city but there would be plenty moaning like * cause they couldn't get a ticket because of the standing area.....but i now know you was talking about something different.

 

People jump 7 feet in the air when Celtic celebrate goals, move side to side to shake people's hands, dance, grab people by the necks, fall over people, hold kids above their heads and other ergonomic moves that could be deemed "risque" if going by Celtic PLC's standards.

The GB are the sole reason we have been able to attract the players we have, without them we would not have reached the last 16 again.

Given the moral status of UEFA, I'm not sure I'd read much into whether they are giving us awards or fines for our behaviour. When they sort their own behaviour out, I might give a * what they think of us.
