Your being naive if you think your wee band of hero's don't have to follow the rules the same as the rest of us.

See the people slating the Green Brigade? Do you honestly want the atmosphere to go back like it was in WGS and Mowbray's tenure?

    Ha ha very funny. :87:

Are you deliberately attacking a straw man or do you genuinely believe that that is what the GB and those of us defending their right to political expression beleve?

See the people slating the Green Brigade, how many of the GB actually make up section 111?

I know people in that section who are NOT members of the group and are being affected by this.

Ok all * would break lose when the fans couldn't get the season ticket that also let them have CL and in a few years dead club games.

I think pete's hands are tied here. It's not his rules that the GB are breaking its the league's and country's. if he doesn't try and stop this Celtic could be fined or have to play matches behind closed doors. If that happens pete's out of a job. Peter lawwel isn't the problem.

That's another very good point that people seem to ignore. There is also the point that the Green Brigade get blamed for many, many things that has * all to do with their organisation and is just single fans being arseholes in section 111.

They are fans like the rest of us and they are angels compared to many other Ultra Groups across Europe. Seems like they can't fart without being targeted.

Why? Inside the ground is surely more important as that's where the supporters actually congregate. I don't think the football and the political aspect should be separated. Without the political aspect, the football is far less significant and much less of a community experience; without the football, the political expression is almost like an artificial add-on of little relevance.

Political expression is one thing, health and safety is another and it is the latter which has resulted in this action being taken, rather than a display protesting an imperialist regime. The fans have been warned on countless occasions that their behavior could cause serious problems for the club. I just hope that some form of compromise can now be reached so that the atmosphere can stay the same without the club being punished.

    This.

    What are you on about?

Just because it would have been a standing section would not meant they would have - for example - sold twice the ticket allocation.

The seats are retracted - you stand in front of your seat.

The seats are brought out - you sit on your seat.

    Simple.

I'm just pointing out that in previous statements celtic have said that health and safety were moaning about the GB, and that if nothing was done about lateral movement and another few problems this could lead to celtic losing their licence to stage events at CP.

If we all blindly followed the rules no one would be doing The Huddle. By your standards 99.9% of fans would be getting kicked out on matchdays.
