All * wouldn't break lose, they would sell them on the basis of you having them for certain games, like we used to do when Oldco took up half a stand.

    Eh? :97:

The safe standing seats were designed to be interchangable for standing and seated.

Competing in UEFA competitions requires full-seated stadia. Simples.

I don't think Lawwell's involvement in this (and we still don't know the full extent of this) should negate the good work he has done for the club. Fact is he has been an excellent custodian of the club for a considerable period of time, to the point that clubs such as Arsenal and Liverpool wanted him as their Cheif Exec. As much as I support the Green Brigade, they are not bigger than Celtic. IF they were to disband, another group would eventually come and fill the gap. No GB at Celtic Park will not condemn the ground to perpetual silence. The future of Celtic is far more important to me, and while it would be silly to suggest that the club would go under if Lawwell was ousted, we will never find a CEO as good as him.

So the club and Scottish football are allowed to have political expression in our stadium and on our park, but the fans who pay good money are not?

    Aye very good :smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002:

You do realise that celtic's hands are tied here?? If the health and safety are putting pressure on them (They can revoke licence for the stadium) Then They have to stop the GB..

Why oh why have the GB ignored countless pleas from the club to stick to some simple rules?

We have to look at the reality of Lawwell and his situation - he is the chief executive, but he is also not a die-hard tim, and he has to look out for the financial side of things. Having 111 doing all kinds of controversial things at games does not bode well for Celtic's reputation and status, and this can in the long-term affect the financial side of things. I think Lawwell sees that and is threatening the 111 and the GB to keep themselves under control.

But he's not a stupid man. I don't think he would ever truly shut 111 down. He knows it's a vital part of Celtic and could damage fan support and attendances if he were to shut it down, and he also knows it would put his position in jeopardy. It's just words and threats at this point. Lawwell has guided this club to financial and on-the-pitch success in the last 10 years so I think he knows what he's doing.

For those who are in love.....
I just watched a couple videos of crystal palace's ultra group and have seen them before, flares and stuff at all there games in the holmesdale stand and away the exact Same sort of stuff as us and very noticeable at there games as there right at the front of the stand in the corner..

Never seen anything mentioned about unacceptable behaviour or anything,I'm glad there not..
Seems we're not on a level playing field,1 rule for us another for the rest!

And your proof for that is where?

The club seems to be picking and choosing who they want to stick to the rules or not, no standing allowed:

I think he's meaning a standing section would hold more than the equivalent seating section, so when it came to UEFA competitions and the seats were down, not everyone in the section would be able to get their tickets for it (to which I think there is an obvious solution; different types of tickets, in the same way as you used to get different types of season tickets to account for seats in the rangers end.)

No chance lads, Lawell's staying. The Green Brigade need to buck up their ideas.

YES! the fans... not a specific group of the fans who don't want to stick to rules the rest of us have to.

The fans as a whole behave themselves. The GB break stadium rules on a regular basis and are then shocked when they're pulled up on it... That however then gives them and there fanbhoys (who have their head buried up their * may I add) the chance to play the victim and use that in their feud with the celtic board...

All "*" does not break loose when people don't get tickets because of the ballot.

So that's a flawed argument on his part right away.
