I take your point, and you're probably right, but I just wish something could have been done about that. Surely there's one * out there who is respect by all sides? On this forum you could probably take someone ffs so why could the GB and the club not have voted to appoint some intermediary bloke who would listen to both arguments then propose concessions and agreements.

I know that all sounds a bit united nations but * it, diplomacy is important wherever you go.

For me, no matter which "side" you are on, and it's pathetic enough that this Celtic vs Celtic has even gone on at all, I think you have to accept that arrogance has been the key issue here. As someone said earlier Lawwell has got the power, and doesn't want to relinquish it. He's not exactly Hitler so frankly I don't begrudge him that.

But the GB have enormous moral power and sway over people, to put it in political terms they would win the popular vote. So we've basically got stalemate and bow the neutrals are dragged in and having to pick sides. Neither side wants to give in and we've basically had a few years now of them slagging each other in public and never saying sorry or giving anything to the other "side".

Pretty sad all in all.

I can't see why anyone is laughing at this thread. This is an attack on not just the green brigade but the whole nature of Scottish football. Jailed for singing, banned for moving sideways. Celtic with Lawell in charge are more than compliant in this, they are jointly responsible.

Scottish football is dead. With all the recent changes at parkhead they may as well remove the pitch and replace it with a paddling pool (so long as everyone was provided with water-wings, safety first!).

As much as I hate Peter Lawwell for this decision just now he runs other aspects of the football club absolutely amazingly. We need to take a stand and show him that he needs to work closer with the fans, the club is nothing without the fans. Right now at the Lawwell and Desmond level this has been forgotten.

I have no interest in seeing the GB leave celtic park. I also however have no time for people who hold them in a higher regard than their football club. If you lose interest in going to watch your team due to a group of people singing in the corner who can't stick to a few set rules then you were always a GB supporter and not a celtic one anyway. hence I would like you to * off!:bbpd:

 

So celtic make 20/30k safe standing for the spl....then we get into CL and all * would break lose cause some fans lose the right to a ticket and we can only have 30/40k oer game.

 

I'm not in the gb,but i'm disappointed with the board on this one..

Having said that he night not be popular but I don't want pl to go or be forced to but something will have to give to get relations with supporters groups and the club back on track,I'm not sure that will happen but I hope so..

I might have missed this but what happens now,is the section closed for good or will it just be general sale?
Will the members not be seated separately elsewhere or have they lost there st's?

 

You're being naive if you think this only affect the Green Brigade.
