Why not just make 111 a safe standing area? This is bollocks!

After all he has done for this club, years and years of work and some * good work as well you want him gone because he has to follow the rules.
And yet you stuck up for sammy for season after season when he was pish.:38:

Don't think anyone could disagree with that.
Part of being a successful businessman is being incredibly hard nosed and cold blooded. No time for any emotion or niceities, thus making him immediately completely incompatible with those who share the views of the GB.

As I said, that's why it was crystal clear to me right from the start that we needed some kind of intermediary between them. Because I believe both groups do genuinely have the best interests of Celtic at heart, but are coming at it from polar opposite viewpoints.
A little bit of communication coukd have sorted this all out, which makes me sad.

Because then no-one would be able to use it :smiley-laughing002: standing isnt allowed in the SPL or UEFA competition.

Absolutely - no successful business person can be as successful without a fairly thick skin, or has a lack of being able to switch off their emotions when it comes to making decisions.

Your point about a middle man. I'm not so sure that would have been accepted by the "opposition" group. If it were me, I'd rather hear straight from the organ grinder, instead of the monkey.

Everything good he's done is insignificant compared to damage he's causing.

Safe standing would be allowed in the SPL - but not UEFA competitions.

I posted in here away when the club brought in the safe standing trials. The club were all for it, but it was Glasgow City Council who put the blockers on it under "Health and Safety".

Aside from this, he also has a habit of bringing Zionists to our club ala Kayal and Gerson, thereby fuelling the Anglo-Saxon war machine.

He cannot continue to ruin our club anymore

    * *, this thread is ridiculous.

Aye let's put the Green Brigade before the success of the club and the team, great idea

Great post. I completely disagree with what is happening with the GB and support them 100%; but Lawwell is just doing the job he is paid for and he does it very well.

Rules are rules. Lawell's job is to ensure to the best of his ability that these rules are adhered to in order to stop the club gaining a bad reputation as well as picking up fines and potential punishments that would have a detrimental effect on the club and the club's finances. If that means the end of the GB because they can't adhere to the rules and do what's best for the club, then so be it.

As for Lennon being Lawell's "puppet" and "spouting off" about flares, that's complete crap. Flares, fireworks and sectarian signing all go against UEFA rules and regulations and therefore leave us open to punishment. Financial punishment will have an adverse effect on Lennon's transfer budget and being kicked out of Europe would have an adverse effect on the players he could attract here.

Both these guys are doing their jobs and in my opinion both doing them supremely well.

I'd put fellow fans before a trophy everyday of the week.

I could turn that around and say we shouldn't put trophies before the right of Celtic fans to political expression. Both are important, but I know which one I consider more important.

    Good point :smiley-laughing002:

We could petition to enter the trials for safe standing and use the 111 section as a test case :smiley-laughing002:

Section 111 does not consist solely of the GB.
