I misread his stats I thought it was 11 games in total and 6 starts but at any rate we both agree that he's not one of lenny's favorites which was my original point

 

Did people watch Izaguirre tonight? I thought he was terrible. Gave the ball away nearly every time he had it.

Izzy kept getting put on his right foot and he don't like that!! That's where his weakness is and I think the Elves new that but couldn't capitalise on it! Still overall happy with tonight tho!

 

Really poor performance all over the pitch tonight, dont know whether it was down to the surface or just an off night but we're through to the next round without conceding a goal and that was the objective when the tie was drawn, so roll on friday to see who we get next.

 

ach mate...been on early shifts all week. (tue, 6-3.30 then gym then band practice till12, then 7 am start today, 7am start tomorrow. No time for hangovers). So aye, summarised I'm tired. But we were gash tonight dude. :icon_mrgreen:

All artificial pitches are not the same. It was obvious to me that pitch was causing them major problems, even with basic control and straightforward passes.

 

Izzy was good tonight, commons and ambrose easily worst two on the pitch.

 

Can't believe there's so many moaners considering we're through to the next round. We've negotiated a tricky tie (for a number of reasons) and we're one step closer to the CL group stages so be happy!

 

Don't know what's up with some of the slapped arses on here, we were never in any danger, they never hit the target once, we never needed to score, professional job, well done

 

Izzy was not the worst but I would not describe him as good. In fact the only player I would give pass marks to is Lustig - for both his performance and his honest critique after.

Of the others, Forster was okay and Sami should get the benefit of doubt as he is unfit and is so much more comfortable when played out wide.Efe was atrocious and Wilson was not much better - he has been a good servant for us but he is not top class as is evidenced by tonight's performance and the lack of Premiership suitors, even though he is clearly available for quite cheap.

Cummons IMO was the worst of the bunch in that he was invisible for the majority and did not even show when Forrest cut inside but had no one to pass too. When Stokes was on he had next to no support so should be not be held accountable with his other colleagues.

All this being said we know they are not bad players as they have shown they can do better in previous outings. Hopefully, after a rollocking, two new defenders and a striker we will not see the lads play this poorly again.

 

Got the result, iffy performance. Need Striker, Good attacking midfielder with good passing range and centre half imo. Need to freshen things up. Need new signings now.

 

I'm glad you were that comfortable when balls were hitting everybody in our 6 yard box..

This place has been in melt down tonight but I was nervous as *,especially around the 70th minute when people were limping and dropping like flies I thought we'd run out of gas and they'd step it up..
They didn't really threaten to much after that though..
Apart from that keene volley that he scuffed,was a good chance!
