    Boerrigter will help us a lot, and Im sure we will get quality in. The pitch was obv a huge factor but today was depressing. It was more or less the same in the first leg too.. No pitch excuses there

    Thought wilson was fantastic in the champions league last season. However we're making a bit of money that can hopefully be reinvested in the team. If we buy Billy Sharp or Doyle as Hoopers replacement though we will be finishing bottom of our Europa League group.

    seeing all this pitch factor pish. I'm sorry. We pumped Scumfermline 8-0 on astro if I'm correct. We played well, and won, against Spartak/Dinamo Moscow as well.


    We were played * tonight because we were * tonight. Second to every ball and couldn't hold possession more than 3 * passes.


    Pitch....=.... poor excuse

    Phew thank * thats over...........poor performance on a poor kid on pitch !!...But I''ll take that any day. As already said we desperately need a couple of new signing, quality CB and a quality striker

    Using the pitch is such a laughable excuse.

    They've trained on it last night and today.

    How long should it take professional footballers to get to grips with a pitch?

    Scott Brown's passing was like we'd rewound back to 2009 tonight, and it was down to him, not the pitch.

    To use an age old cliche... both teams played on the same pitch.

    It may not have been ideal but we should've been able to string 3 passes together

    Do you not think this would be difficult to play on? Dunfermline, Spartak, Cliftonville and Dynamo all had 3G pitches, this was AstroTurf tonight and not even particularly good AstroTurf, it's all over the place. We were playing a team that's used to all it's little lumps and bumps. We had no clue, the pitch was the biggest leveler tonight. They are unbeaten there in 26 games for a reason, it's not because they are a very good team. When you see even Joe Ledley giving the ball away the amount of times he did tonight you know something is wrong.
