I actually couldn't believe what I was watching tonight, Ambrose being totally out muscled and letting Bangura get infront of him time and time again.

 

We started really badly, however by the time we got to grips with the game people had already convinced themselves we had to attack them, resulting in people getting irate at the substitutions even though it was right to keep our shape now that we were controlling the match.

We got a bit shaky at the end again because of the importance of the match but apart from about 20 minutes max we looked comfortable.

Job done, in the next round and at the very least the EL proper.

Time to spend some money Celtic.

that was pathetic. No drive, no clue. Our passing and control was appalling and there really isn't an argument.

That was as poor a I can remember us being anywhere..

Pitch didn't help as ha been said and was obvious..

Delighted we're through,* the performance we know we can and will play much better..

Sorry Sean, I tend to agree with your opinions but that was utter gash.

I wasn't comfortable with the defense (ambrose probably played the best tbh). But for me, that was so below par that it was utter *.
Couldn't string two passed together at all and made them look so much better.


Really need to sort it out, and..........bring in a * striker

 

Mainly negative points from that game tonight, we were very lucky to get through. Midfield non existent, defense very weak ( Ambrose and Wilson together are bombscares ), forward line non existent.

Apart from that, just happy to be through :smiley-laughing002:

 

Pitch was a big factor.

It would be idiotic to discount it.

We couldn't do the basics for 20 minutes of the first half.

 

Too bad they turned out to be *. Highlight of the night was watching Forrest beam a ball into the stands after the whistle.

 

Finally someone speaking the truth. Was one of the worst displays in a while. Yeah we got through but sometimes thats just not good enough. Even Lustig said we were dreadful. Improvements need to made, and fast.

 

During the interviews that pitch behind them look like carpet. No wonder we struggled. Glad we are through..it was a tricky match but in the end we were lucky that Elfsborg are indeed *...we would have been seriously undone by any half decent team tonight as we too were *

 

Even Lustig said we were terrible tonight. He is right.

 

I don't know how we can be expected to try and play football on this.
