I think we should be fine, as long as we put away a chance or two. There's just a slight fear at the back of my mind that something unforeseen could go wrong - you know sending off, give away an early goal etc. Still, hope for the best!

Elfsborg are likely to start the game with an attacking formation/mentality so it'll be interesting to see whether we sit back and hit them on the counter attack using Sammy and Forrest as outets or if we will press relatively high and try to control possession in their half - much like we'd do in an SPL game.

I honestly don't think this mob are very good. We should be more than capable of beating them. I just don't like the fact that sammy carrying an injury and wilson knows he's leaving regardless... Not ideal by any means..

Still think we'll scrape it though... Any team with mo bangura as their main striker is very beatable..

Yeah I'll be intersted to see which of these strategies we use. In general I like to see us press high and play in the opposition's half, but I think we'll be more cautious tonight and use Sammy and Forrest. I'd probably go 4-3-3 and use Sammy, Forrest and Commons or Stokes as a front 3.

Show this to the team before the game, if that doesn't pump them nothing will.

Horrible feeling about this one tonight. Been niggling at me all day. If we lose an early goal then i fear for us.

I'd go for 4-5-1 with Sammy up on his own. Brown, Kayal and Ledley in the middle with commons and forrest outside.

He already said he doesn't see a need to change the Wilson and ambrose partnership so that will be our central 2 with lustig and izzy

    Forster

    Lustig
    Ambrose
    Wilson
    Izzy

    Brown
    Ledley
    Mulgrew

    Commons
    Sammy

    Stokes

Think it'll be close to this..

If I was to choose it would be same team

But sammy up top Forrest on the wing

Would like more than just one up front. Last week they were poor all over, I say we play Samaras with Balde up front together. We should be a bit more confident in our abilities.

    Forster
    Lustig --- Wilson --- Mulgrew --- Izzaguire
    Forrest --- Brown --- Ledley --- Commons
    Balde --- Samaras

Confident for tonight, with them having to score I'm confident we can get atleast one on the counter. Can't see them scoring three especially if we take the lead but as always, the first goal is important in this tie.
