Agreed....... I get the feeling that we are waiting till after we have played the first leg of this tie, or maybe Alfie is waiting to see if we look like we are going to qualify

 

Icelandic poster on another forum, who has been spot on in regards to the Finnbogason rumours, is saying that Celtic have refused to go higher than €2.5 million for Finnbogason..

As you said, he's been spot on so far but I find that incredibly hard to believe.

 

Doubt we only bid 2.5M euro, that's a waste of our time and theirs.

 

To be fair, Peter may have saw the financial situation over there and though they could get away with it, rather cheekily.

I don't see why it is so bad to start low and then go up. However after reading a bit more from Otsje, it seems they have savings and will take a hit, gambling with Finnbo, hoping he will go for about £10 million next year.

 

Offering €2.5 million is just insulting on our behalf and it certainly wouldn't make business any easier. Hope that's not true.

His club have reported we made more than one bid for him so a doubt that to be true.

Starting to feel pretty negative about the chances of this happening. I mean when was the last time we actually came out of a transfer saga as the winner?
