Funny you mentioned too old guys behind you, I was the same. Was one of the funniest things id ever heard at a game them moaning. I could have burst out laughing but didnt want to as id have looked like a nutcase. The two of them looked over 70, dont know if they were brothers.

Was more the language they were using like "big darkies" than them being funny though :smiley-laughing002:

They were talking about Hooper going and how we hadnt signed Russell, when one of them said "Lennon is to fond of they big darkies that hes missing out on players under our own nose, its all penny pinching. They big darkies from Africa are happy with a bowl of rice and bag of totties to take back to their family" :smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002: just the way they were talking, it was like they geniunly thought we were paying "big darkies" in food :52:

Granit Xhaka is always a good player for me on FIFA so I didn't mind when he scored :smiley-laughing002:

Sounds like Charles Green has undergone a conversion.

Where do you sit? Might have been near me, sounds identical to the two behind me actually.

I wanted to laugh as well but it got to the stage where I actually just wanted to walk out the stadium instead, they were doing my nut in. At one point they were getting mixed up with Ambrose and Mouyokolo and when Efe went off they were adamant that he was still playing:smiley-laughing002:

"Good run up the park fae big Efe there" pal responds "Aye it wiz that Jimmy, shame he canny *' heed a baw. Big Donkey" let's just say his name was Jimmy.

They also proceeded to plan their night out on Wednesday, I would be as well turning up as well the amount of information I managed to pick up from their conversation :87:

Anyway, the game was pish so it provided some entertainment for me.

Yeah I knew he was good but I enjoyed seeing him in the flesh, think he is better than Gladbach personally! Thought he would have went to a better side after leaving Basle.

He joined Gladbach the summer after they had just secured a Champions League Play-Off place by finishing 4th in the Bundesliga. Last season Gladbach very narrowly missed out on European football. They are quite a good side.

I Thought Darnel Fisher was the stand out in this one before the MOTM got awarded, put in good tackles and never looked out of place.

They passed the ball well and quickly which is something we should try to do more often I think.

First thing I noticed from their team was the wee No. 25, some player, very tricky. Good to see that fisher got the hang of him and handled it very well, eventually the guy switched wings.

Not the most interesting of games but I thought all the goals were very good, especially Gladbach's first.

    I'm not picky.
I really didn't think we played too badly at all, especially considering we started the game with Herron, Fisher, Waters and McGregor. Balde was a wee bit disappointing, but he never really got the service though. Unfortunately whenever he did get the ball he did *-all. He had one chance that I recall but was a weak, sclaffed shot pulled wide. Still only had a few games, though, so hopefully he'll get more game time to get him up to speed.

Fisher was the stand-out player for me. He was superb all match, and made some really good tackles. If he keeps that form up I think we definitely have a star in the making with him.

Yeah they are a good side mate I acknowledge that but still think he could have been good enough for a Schalke or a Leverkusen who are maybe more likely to finish in the top 4/5consistently that's all:50:

Gladbach did impress me at that game though despite the fact we played a very weakened side.
