    Yep.

Lenny got the right idea last year going to Germany for pre-season. Hope we do it all the time now. Learn from the best.

I know that nobody really likes me here but does anyone here have a link to the goals from this game? Thanks

I always get disheartened when I see teams on our level knocking the ball about for fun when we seem to be very hestitant in our passing, almost like we are unsure what to do.

can't say it surprises me though.

I know what you mean. It's something that I haven't seen improve whatsoever since Lennon took over and it's really highlighted against European teams. Our strategy is far too direct. That or pass it backwards and hoof it up the park.

Back from the game. Darnell Fisher deserved MOTM, some very good tackles and blocks. Tony looked really good first half, charging down the back line. Zaluska few good saves. Can't wait to see more of John Herron.

Anyone else see Gareth McDonagh and Liam Henderson hanging about London Rd after the game?

Thought we were very poor today, no cohesion whatsoever but we did have a B team out. Borussia Moenchengladbach were very slick though, passed it well and created plenty of chances for themselves, brought quite a good crowd over as well, bigger than most Scottish teams!

Balde is not impressive... at all

Far, far too early to be making judgements on Balde imo. Nice to see a few young lads in the team.

Fisher the stand out- was a typical friendly/pre-season game I suppose. Balde didn't have much to work with. The ball was being punted to him from sixty yards away, he'd attempt to get a head on it, and when he was successful and headed it down there was no one there to receive the ball. He's another player that seems to drift out wide- we need some one who'll be in the box to be on the end of things. We hardly had a shot on goal either which was frustrating.

Over all a good work out for the squad players, and the likes of Ledley and Mulgrew getting some game time. Nice goal from Stoke too.

Poor game to be honest, totally outplayed by Monchengladbach. In all fairness, they are a good team.

The main positives were Fisher and Ambrose. Both were great:50: Stokes looked sharp as well, cracking goal.

Scott Brown was great too until he got clattered a couple of times and looked raging went off at HT I think.

Matthews looked rusty, understandable since its his first game in about 4 month.

Not the most entertaining game I have been to, was struggling to stay awake at points not to mention the two old dicks behind me constantly chattering away and moaning about how players were not being booked, complaining about the youngsters etc:56:.

Gladbach are a good side to watch at times, their wee number 25 Younes or something impressed me, had never seen him play before. Granit Xhaka's goal was an absolute raker as well.

Nice support they brought over by the way.

I have to say, the only young player who has made an impression on me so far is Darnell Fisher, just a shame we have so much quality at RB already. Not too sure about Mcgregor or Herron. What is it with Watt being pushed out wide now as well? Felt he was pretty ineffective today.
