so you advocate a whole section being shut down due to the actions of one single person? :56:

where does everyone in the section get relocated to then? another section? then someone in that section does something daft and another section gets shut down again, everyone keeps moving round the stadium till theres no sections left? aye ok mate. :56:

if you shut down entire sections due to the actions of one person you would need to shut down Celtic park. :smiley-laughing002:

The fact it's the Green Brigade it's a wider issue for our entire support. To me the fans are the football club.

You do realise people in that section have been doing "daft things" for about three years now, and its about time the club does something about it. IMO, of course.

I never said all of section 111, I said 'people' in 111. They have cameras, the will know who to ban.

That's nonsense. The fans are what make this club special.

You cant just say "its the stewards responsibility" or "its the clubs fault". There are clearly a small minority who are behaving like morons and intent on ruining the reputation of the club.

The Green Brigade are one of the most entertaining and enjoyable aspects of match days. Without them, Celtic Park would be like a morgue at times. It is not fair to hold an entire section responsible for the actions of a few morons setting off bangers.

I see the clubs point of view. I also see it from GBs point of view. That doesnt hide the fact there is problem.

Im glad Green Brigade reps have been in talks with the club. They have to work together over the next few weeks because if the same thing happens again in Europe, UEFA will come down very heavy on us.

thats a bit out of order really, calling everyone in section 111 idiots?

no need for that is there.

Doesn't matter whether you are 'for' or 'against' the Green Brigade (whatever that is) you simply cannot condone any actions which see the club being brought forward for disciplinary procedures.

It is not our call as a club to ban flares and fireworks or for lateral movement and crowd surfing. We fall under the scope of UEFA, healthy and safety and general law legislation and we cannot act outwith it without being punished.

Maybe if they shut the section the young guys ruining it for everyone else would learn their lesson. Then again maybe not, they'd probably bring an upside UEFA banner to every game for a year and sing a song about it rather than sort themselves out.

The club was special a long time before the GB came about though. Sometimes feels like they compete with our actual club for headlines and they also act like they are the only fans that matter.

If someone fell when they jumped up and down after we score they could get seriously injured, if someone jumped up with a hot cup of coffee in their hand they could scald someone, if it rains someone might slip over, if......
