We are in pre season.. That mob are halfway through their season, they will have much higher levels of fitness at this stage, along with their match fitness. I'm delighted with a clean sheet and a win. Over the moon.

    Well done Celtic!

they parked the bus and we lack a striker. it was a good result under the circumstances.

Wasnt the best performance but glad we got the goal and a clean sheet.

Got to be honest, from what i seen, I thought they were very poor in my opinion, they were blowing out their arses and their half way through a season. I can see us beating them over there also, wasnt impressed at all.

Weren't Helsinki meant to be unbeatable at home? We'll do fine next week.

    I reckon we'll win 2-1.

Despite the poor first half we could have had 3 goals from the Stokes early effort, the Forrest shot and the Ambrose sitter. Someone needs to work on Efe's heading on the training ground. :smiley-laughing002:

Kayal didn't look sharp at all tonight and our play improved once Ledley was introduced. Agree with everyone who picked Sammy as MOTM but we were wasteful in the final third at times considering the amount of corners and crossing situations we had.

For those who are in love.....
Sammy was brilliant tonight, they all got treatment but he was obviously singled out but he got up and took the * out of them tonight, motm for me with commons who was also excellent behind him,Forrest I also thought had a good game tonight overall...

Ambrose is a donkey,he * up and about too much
Stokes was * and doesn't cut it in the big games,it's true
Whole backline tonight was suspect and * scared of bangura,do they know something we don't?
Izzy dallies on the ball far too much tries to beat a man when it's already been done, lustig passed the buck too much tonight..

Listen it's still a decent score line and result but it should have been more,I think we'll score over there and with the players getting up to speed and others coming back in and new boys we'll be better...

By the way that is the dirtiest most cynical team I've seen at Celtic park, ever.
Thought the ref was very poor and weak tonight,we never get homers!

There I've got my moaning out the way,I just hope we don't regret not taking a few more chances tonight maybe 2 up top,we'll see

helsinki had a great home record too last year and we beat them 2-0, i reckon it'll be a tight 0-0 or 1-0 to us.

We don't have an out and out goalscorer? We've sold two of our big players? We've played 2 competitive games before this, whereas they've played 17 in the league alone? Take your pick.

If we score in Sweden then they need 3 goals, come on guys that's a decent result tonight!

Remember the only competitive matches we've played this season have been against part timers so of course we'll be rusty. We just beat the Swedish champions and kept a clean sheet against a team half way through their season, we need to be happy with that.

Attendance on skysports news there. Just over 40,000. Think it was 40,143 or around that anyway.
