    Seriously?

I thought he was pretty poor. Barely put a good cross in and had a few utter * touches.

That was a below par performance there from us but Elfsborg are below average, very poor team. For where they are in the season and where we are I'll take that scoreline. Really, can only seen another win away at their place.

    Need a striker ASAP.

    Mon the Hoops. Hail Hail.

    very average performance am disapointed.

Its clear to see that sammy and stokes cant play up front together, they both move out of the central area and dont link up.

no sign of any of the new signings?? why??

kayal is certainly not the answer in the middle of that park......... its clear for all to see

brown looked half fit and to be honest it was brutal at times watching that, passing the ball back the ways as if its some sort of friendlyh.

by not pushing for more goals we could get knocked out, and by not getting a proper stiker in ON TIME could * us out of this cl.

    thats the reality

Sammy and commons where great as usual but stokes is not the man to lead the line. We need another striker on fast. How he lasted the match I'll never know.

Brown and Ledley where good as well but kayal was *.

I dont know, away game is gonna be totally different. worried about the turf. Elfsborg is really good on it and will likely have more possesion. Hopefully we can get that important away goal early.

A win and a clean sheet. We played ok, dominated the second half. Just been reading some of the comments posted, somepeople need a reality check. We are still in pre-season, they are half way throught theirs !!!...We are still working on fitness and sharpness. Sammy was outstanding again, we will get chances out there as they will need to open up more. As for that ref, i hope thats his last European tie. And Lenny should ensure that cheating Bangura never wears the hoops again !!!!!!

Hardly sensational, played well I though although he was very frustrating in the first half. Samaras was the closest player to being "sensational" tonight.

I dont critisize the team much, but until the goal this was painful to watch. And whats with all the diving and complaining against the ref? Stay on yer feet!

Well that should leave Stokes' fan club on here in no doubt as to the level he can play at.

Commons and Samaras played pretty well. Sammy was skinning them time and time again but they kept fouling him, Commons likewise, also looks in a lot better shape than this point last season. Also thought Izzy had a great game, some assist, and Forrest looked dangerous whenever he got it but didn't get it enough.

Samaras was brilliant tonight, with Kayal, Forrest and Stokes pure gash.

Forrest especially does my head in. He just looks totally uninterested at times.
