    I suppose any win with a clean sheet at home is a decent result. They didn't look much tbh.

    Our crossing in the game was among the worst I've seen in 90mins, other than the goal obviously.

    Good to get the win. Was disappointed we didn't push for the second goal in the last 10 minutes, and no sign of Watt or Balde when they should have been brought on considering the number of set pieces we were having.

    Got the job done just for tonight, but still not good enough. Incredibly risky for the next leg. Squad is in dire need of a goal scorer. We might just get through this I think, but unless we get in a quality striker we will not make the groups.

    Delighted with the score after a pretty mediocre performance but then I think Elfsborg were a pretty poor team as well. If we can step up to maybe 3rd gear then we shouldnt have a problem in the 2nd leg.

    We have a real lack of flair up front. Samaras is a good target but he often has to come deep and he needs someone better to play off. I dont think Stokes is the answer and until Ledley came on, I think there was too much of a gap between midfield and forward.

    What I would say is that people complained in the exact same manner at this point last season. It may just take us a few weeks to get sharper and hopefully break the new guys into the team. Not very encouraging but at the same time we are still a few games off being fully fit and up to speed.
