    I heard Celtic were interested by Gunnar Heidar Þorvaldsson

    Celtic will apparently be interested IFK Norrköping striker Gunnar Heidar Þorvaldsson. He is 31 and is second in the Swedish top scorer with 9 goals in 15 matches. A couple of years ago, he won the top scorer in the Swedish league and went abroad to Hannover 96 where he failed then a few years later, he was back in the Swedish league and continued scored

    Thinking should be about £10 a ticket 5 for children for the 1st and 2nd qualifier or if they did it as a deal pay for the first 2 get the 3rd free and if we dint qualify then get 50% of the money back

    A 31 year old striker who had 2 failed spell's at Hannover and Reading?

    I highly doubt that's what we'll do with the cash we currently have.

    In Dublin here for a few days, heading to Croker for the GAA quarter finals at the weekend, but was hoping to catch the Celtic match in a local bar here.
    Can any Dubs on Talk Celtic suggest any good bars that will show the game even if its streamed?

    With our best team from last year I would feel confident but losing Hopps and Vic is a massive blow and no matter how we look at it we are weakened. My main worry though is the loss of Hoops as we have a lot of good CM options. Noone else is remotely as good as him in the striker role and as natural a scorer. Not finding goals easy to come by is my main worry.

    Hooper is a loss but Samaras often turns out to be our main man in Europe anyway. I'm confident we have enough to get by this side, if we turn up ofcourse, can't be taking any prisoners.
