Wondering that myself, a mate was saying the club have sold around 49,000 season tickets, looks like a lot of folk are doing that just to secure their seats for the big nights..

 

You really think there's going to be 15-20k tickets bought tomorrow & Wednesday at the Ticket Office? We'll be lucky to get 30k.

 

If we sign Finnbogason I reckon a fair amount of tickets will shift.

 

That's looking increasingly unlikely. We shouldn't have to buy a good striker to entice fans to come to such an important match, I doubt your average fan as even heard of Finnbogason into the bargain.

We all know how special a European night is at Celtic Park with a full-house - the backing from the crowd & intimidating atmosphere could be the difference between a win and a draw on the night, and ultimately qualification. To have a Europa League-esque attendance in arguably our most important game of the season (excluding the Playoff if we get there) is vastly disappointing.

 

anyone think this game will suit elfsborg. they like defend in numbers and hit us on counter attack with pace. We need keep ball well and no mistakes. Anyone think we should play Balde and Sammy up front on wed. If they have 11 men behind ball. We probably be putting alot high balls into box. Keep Balde and Sammy in box to get on end all crosses. With Sammy and Balde strength and height, it could be our best option for a goal. I worry bout final 15 mins when we are going to get tired and these boys could cause us alot problems. We need 3-0 result to take sweden. Make next week game easier

5 week month on my paycheck this month, dont get paid till thursday. Bad timing good news is i get paid at the end of august as well as the start.

There was a great crowd at the Cliftonville game so I expect the attendance to be higher v Elfsborg.

 

Believe me, in an ideal world Stokes wouldn't start but I think he has to. We're not going to sign Hooper's replacement and have him available for the game so Stokes up top it is, with Forrest, Commons and Samaras supporting.

Despite the Elfsborg game not being free on the season ticket, I have to say I'm very disappointed with the lack of sales so far. Fair enough some genuinely can't make it with going on holiday, having to work etc, but there are still a large element within our support that could go but would prefer to stay at home and find an Internet link - whether they underestimate Elfsborg's quality or just can't be arsed. We should have a minimum of 40,000 for this game but at this rate Celtic Park will be half empty. And unlike the Cliftonville game when it was falsely labelled as half empty, the stadium will actually be half empty.
