The guy looks pretty good I suppose. Always hard to tell watching 2 minutes of footage on a youtube video though.

Tried that and still no cigar. However, every time I go to play a youtube video, it plays about 3 seconds and then has to be started again before it plays in full. It's been this way for about 2 weeks. Means I get about 3 secs of this guy, then nothing but static.

He was one of the top scorers in France. Pretty high up just behind the likes of Kalou. Must be of some quality. 3 million ? Worth a punt. Not the same risk factor as Bangura as Ligue 1 is far superior to the SPL and he was playing with one of the lesser teams and still banged them in and created for others.

"Khelifa is currently in dispute with Evian and has failed to turn up for pre-season training yet."

Wonder what that's about? Anyone know if it's a reasonable dispute or is he throwing the toys out of the pram for a move somewhere? Just hoping that if we do sign him, he ain't got a * attitude.

Not seen the videos but I like the sound of this guy. And £3m seems a very decent price. Considering the profits we've made this season it's not much of a gamble.

I just have a 'feeling' :56: hard to explain but I don't think he is the right kind of striker to replace Hooper. From his stats as well he seems to have had only one good season, and that was last year. Would be more of a risk paying £3-4m for this guy.

Granted I don't know alot about him, just going by his stats and potential cost.

I was really wanting him but the more I think about it and after looking at his previous seasons' scoring record, I'm not sure anymore. One good season isn't a lot to go on.

    Would rather someone more consistent.

Yeah I would worry about him just being a 'one season wonder'.

    Sorry guys for late reply.

I know him well, as I'm a french guy, and watch all the games from Ligue 1.
I've seen him play and I don't see him as a goalscorer. I think he has great dribbling skills, but definitively not a top scorer as was Hooper.

I would much prefer let Commons and Stokes play than Khlifa as they are similar.

It was mentionned he currently has problems with his club (Evian), and there is absolutely no reason for him to be such a *. That's why I said he was too big-headed for Celtic. I easily can imagine him have a good season in SPL, but be sure that the following year he could do anything to join QPR or any others * english teams.
