Served his ban for it as a Celtic player though. Just, if you're looking for professionals, you wouldn't * away half your budget (or something like that) on Nadir Ciftci.

He's still quite young though, isn't he? I'm thinking that Deila's opinion would be different if Stokes were 23 and had only made a couple of mistakes.

Commons is 32 and can go tonto in the dug out and tell them to get * mate. I don't think it's an age thing. Think Ronny just can't be arsed with him, for whatever reason.

Commons is a different matter though, I was meaning Ciftci.

I think he simply views Commons as a really important part of the team, and as such he's willing to put up with a bit of * from him. It happens at clubs all over the world.

Yes he returned late from a trip to Dublin , Not the end of the world?
You have taken the quote about what he thinks of the Celtic manager completely out of context.
He * off Lenon yes but nothing top do with his ankle injury ,

He never went to Alan Ryans Funeral , You are a liar and a dangerous liar ' so please edit and correct your comments .

I think Deila is a bully. Tried his * with Commons & he told him to get to * and put him in place. He is now trying it with Stokesy.

There's one common denominator here. Ronny. Get the idiot out.

You can try to explain those points away with such nonsense as "not the end of the world", but each of them is an example of unprofessionalism.

And I'll be editing * all.

Happens at every club, so what ? Not a hangable offence

Lennon did plenty of this in Ireland too. Are the club now ashamed of their Republican and Irish roots ?

Lennon * off many himself, remember McGeady ? And Lennon had a bit of vendetta against Stokes too from Stokes's Hibs days, remember the sending off ?

That shows Stokes has belief in himself, he doezen't need the manager's approbation.

Not guilty M'Lord. Stokes is presumed innocent unless convicted in court. Nice bit of mudslingin though

Stokes missed a plane, so what ? I've done it before. Haven't you ?
Condemn a man for missing a plane. * happens, deal with it.

Stokes complains lesser players are keeping him out of the team because of an intransigent and bitter manager. It is the truth.

One you didn't mention by the way.

Stokes and his family living in fear because of death threats and vandalism on his property.

No sympathy for Stokes at the club that he has served so well. Wonder why that is ?

He could have served the club better if he had been a bit more professional.

He's done here and that's that.

Except he did try to freeze Commons out at first, as he done to Griffiths. Think the only reason Commons is still in the team is because after that result, if he dropped him, the fans would have went * balistic. He was on a shoogly peg, that could have sent him overboard.

I don't think you can have different standards in a sqaud like ours though, for much the same reasons we won't break the wage structure.

Not a hangable offence, but an example of unprofessionalism though.

You or my opinion on the situation matters not a jot. It was something for which he was reprimanded by the club, which is another example of unprofessionalism.

Again, your opinion doesn't change the fact that the club and the manager at the time saw Stokes antics as unprofessional.

Regardless, it was still deemed unprofessional.

No mudslinging here, I didn't accuse him of anything. I simply stated the facts as they stand.

Again, another situation that has been deemed unprofessional.

Again, regardless of your view on it, it was deemed unprofessional behaviour. That's simply a fact.

That may be so, but the way in which Stokes voiced his disapproval was.....wait for it.....you know it's coming......

    Unprofessional.

Why would I mention that in a list of his unprofessional antics over the years? It has absolutely nothing to do with the point being discussed.

Not for the first time you're simply wrong, Doc.

    Stokesy himself said the following after the death threats incident;

Do people forget the reason he's not getting a game in the team is because he was consistently pish under Deila whilst in it?

Sounds like an excuse for a manager who is way out of his depth, has lost the dressing room, and can't handle players.Stokes has a bit of the Irish in him, and Deila can't cope with it.

Aye Aye Captain, that's that then is it ?

We will see. Stokes saved Lennon's career twice.
I don't think Stokes will go out of his way to save con man Deila's career.
    I'm happy about that.:52:

I really should be staying out of this thread. :smiley-laughing002:

Looks like he's for the off. I don't believe for a second that Ronny and the club have a vendetta against him and are keeping him out the team for the sake of it. None of us know what's going on with him.

If it ever came out that these rumors of the manager "bullying" him :56: are true then I would be raging, but that's not what's happening.

I wish the boy well. It's a shame it has ended like this. There's no denying his talent but he has obviously had a hand in ending up in this position.

    Unprofessionalism my * :smiley-laughing002:
A string of trumped up charges that wouldn't stand up in any court of law.
Unless we are conducting a kangaroo court trial of Stokes here.:31:
