Anthony Stokes

You have been found out talking * with nothing to back it up ...

 

Like I said mate, last season he set up more goals than anyone else in the team and only played like half the season. He links up well with Griffiths and a full and we're currently strugging for a left winger, which is where he was setting these goals up from.

He wouldn't transform the team but if you don't think that helps turns draws into wins then you'd be being silly. For instance, look at Commons goal against Dinamo Zagreb last season? We've not really got a player with that kind of link up and passing in the team just now. We are missing that ball in behind sometimes, it's why people are shouting out for Allan. Stokes is by far the best player at that at our disposal.

 

It will be lawlell that wants stokes out and all because of his allegiances. Stokes comes from Ireland so he will have opinions that some people don't like . Anthony stokes CSC

How is this Lawells fault? Deila is our manager not him.

Him not playing one of our most consistent player, who is one of our most creative players in the squad.

There are some strange tims floating about these days.

 

He is bang average.

Now, he should be in the team because he is the best option we have out left and the second best striker. However that is because the other options are pish. Stokes never was a great player. He can do a job for us domestically, but bang average is exactly what he is.

 

Lawell pulls the strings when it comes to politics at our club not Delia ...............Lawell will want no links of any kind whatsoever to the IRA etc if you get my drift ....,,,..

 

Here we go again, What exactly is this access baggage you speak of? please do not reply along the lines that, "everybody knows his problems , well documented etc " please provide evidence of this terrible baggage that is preventing him from playing football

 

I disagree mate. He has attributes that makes him far more useful than a bang average player.

The likes of Pukki I'd say were bang average, Scepovic bang average. Stokes is by far more useful than the likes of those.

 

Stokes has no baggage . He comes from Ireland . So did Roy Keane .

The annoying thing is, when Stokes was dropped from the team at the start of 2015, we didn't miss him at all. Now, we really could be doing with him playing regularly.

Still can't believe he is being loaned out when we have GMS and Armstrong fighting it out for that wide left position.
