Just for the people who will no doubt come on to take the huff with my opinion; I can't take back how I felt at one point in time.

To try to equate that with my general opinion on the IRA is mental. I am too young and not educated enough to know all I need to, to take a stance either way. To say that as a Celtic supporter yer stance as an individual on the IRA is important in this day and age, is crazy to me.

You are doing yourself no favours here mate.

You are admitting you were influenced by the media reaction and the mention of the IRA rather than the fact Stokesy was attending a friends memorial.

You have said you were embarrassed at the time but at no point have you explained why you were embarrassed.

Neil Lennon is a lickspittle - this can be confirmed when he stated he wanted to be one of the best 'British' Managers. Using Lennon's context of authority is embarrassing. The same applies to everyone at our Club or past who feels the same way when they identify themselves to a Union which indirectly caused a misplaced genocide for our creation.

Is it correct to assume you're struggling to accept the reality that we historically identify and have had Irish Republicans in the Clubs history and structural ethnically?

My gut tells me that Anthony Stokes is being put into a position to see down his contract by loaning him out due to his ethnic and political representation as the Board have routinely reformed the protestation using revisionism as there presence in power as they conflict the Clubs creation (Tories) this is no coincidence.

The ignorance within our support is astonishing.

I can appreciate you are young but to not appreciate that all those Celtic supporters that are older and lived through the 70's,80's and 90's ( or just some of them)would suddenly stop having their views and start being embarrassed by Irish Republicanism is totally naïve.

    Crazy?

You do know our Club was formed due to a engineered genocide which forced millions out of Ireland which resulted the Irish presence in Scotland? which without any doubt the Irishism brought the reality of Irish Catholicism and anti-British Political aptitude? This is the product of it, and this is why Rebel songs and Irish Republicanism is so linked in the Club. If you cannot comprehend or even find it crazy then please don't go to a Barcelona game because the similarities are a nationalist issue and Athletic Bilbao is a representation of that as well. Notice we get on well with these Clubs? Did you honestly believe it was a coincidence :smiley-laughing002::rolleyes:

You are closer to the truth that you can ever know. When the time comes the truth will be told including the sponsors role. In the meantime allow the idiots to have their day

    No, I didn't know that. :87:

My point was that my stance on that incident does not equate to my general opinion on the IRA, and as I pointed out, I did not know it was his friend. On reflection, I maybe did give too much attention to the reaction rather than the incident itself.

I never once called the IRA or Irish Republicanism embarrassing, so * can stop trying to imply that. I was embarrassed for the club and the manager, having to deal with the reaction. Whatever that makes me, so be it. I never said it was right or wrong, just how I felt at the reaction it caused.

Good decision to loan him in my opinion.

He needs games in order to get himself to the standard he was at earlier in his Celtic career, but he won't play here due to the form of Griffiths, with Ciftci and Cole looking like Deila's second and third-choice strikers.

Hopefully we can bring another one in during the window though, because when Griffiths isn't playing we look toothless up top.

Always thought Stokes looked too predictable out there. Cut inside and then hit a * shot either straight at the goalkeeper or off target.

Played half of last season and set up the most goals out of the full team.

Maybe I'm missing something then if that stat is true, but I just never fancied him out there and always thought he looked quite easy to read on the left.

There's no doubt he sees himself as a striker though.
