    In a ideal situation, Armstrong should be dropped and Stokes should take over his position. He was making assists left right and center in the first half of last season. If he only his attuide was better

    Put Stokes and Griffiths upfront together and we will score plenty. Cole & Cicti are nowhere near Stokes in that position. Our manager is just a fud, simple as that.

    What do people get out of calling our manager a fud/clown/idiot etc?

    Strange way to treat the manager of the football club. He is trying his best and is a nice enough guy, it just doesn't seem to be working for him.

    Don't understand the need for personal insults.

    Agree with this.

    I wonder if part of Stokes's problem is the court case that's still hanging over his head. It'd be hard to focus on football entirely if there's the possibility of a custodial sentence looming over you. I realise they're meant to be professionals, but even so, it would have to affect your performance and your confidence.

    very strong rumor in Dublin tonight that Stokes is on his way to ICT on a loan until the end of season. might be best for all, he gets to play and we can see where we are at the end of the season. Hughes will bring out the best in him seems to know how to handle him.
