Bobby Petta who had a good half season for us being compared to Stokes who is consistently at the top of our goals and assists charts.

Did he not take the kind of abuse you are dishing out to Stokes now?

 

Sammy was LM stokes played LAM in EL and contributed what 1 assist in a 1 2 with commons. Armstrong already done more in Europe than stokes in Europe in 11 less games. Theres plenty of space for him in the squad no place in the main 11.

 

Yet far better players have played for celtic throughout our history.

Yeah you can but in Europe he's not an attacking threat he's a * man down bar the odd Game in ten when he pops up with an assist.

 

Never from me. But I'm weird, I appreciate goals against Spartak Moscow and Barcelona more than assists against Ross County and Hamilton.

 

Just remember we wouldn't have the goals against Barca and Spartak without the goals against County and Hamilton.

Stokes is an important member of this squad with a lot to offer us, especially in our bread and butter league title charge.

Think people are daft if they think he doesn't offer more than what Forrest did today from the left flank.

 

What did Ronny say about him before the game? Heard him mention Stokesy on the radio Scotland not sure what he'd said tho?

They are different options. Forrest has pace and directness while Stokes has guile and creativity . Definitely room for both of them in the squad

 

Definitely but from the left flank Stokes is twice the player.

 

Why on Earth would I lie about that

 

Stokesy contribution towards goals this season has been second to none. But are you suggesting he's better than Armstrong or GMS?

They 2 are part of our strongest 11. Stokes isn't.

Too early to say but with time i reckon you will be right. Stokes has done in consistently for years and the Dundee Utd boys are only in the door. As i said in a different thread our competition in the 4 attacking positions is excellent

 

Because they are better players regardless of how long they've been here. McGregor has scored and played more than both this season, but they're both better than him as well.

 

And yet both Armstrong and GMS are 3 bad performances away from getting the treatment on here. Go figure.

The place is nescafe, everybody living in the instant.

 

How is it too early?

So far the games they've played I feel we've been at our best.

 

Because they've played a couple of games. To say they are part of our strongest 11 is lunacy.

They look good and may go on to be great players for us but to claim they are part of our strongest 11 after a few games is just madness.

Will you be on here slating them after two * performances? Because that would be just as knee * as claiming they are part of our strongest 11.
