He isn't a striker, that much is clear by his play.

The only role he could possibly play is behind the striker but clearly Commons should play there, gets more goals etc etc.

 

Stokes can definitely be blamed, had the majority of our chances today and on top of that took multiple set pieces, all but 1 were poor.

 

Ronny keeps playing him as a winger when he has no pace .
Stokesy plays far better when he is one of the 2 strikers .

 

Agreed. Commons was poor as well. Even early in the game you could see his touch was off and he looked tired.

but not better than Commons so he shouldn't be in the starting XI.

 

Stokes continues to prove that he cannot score, the sooner he is dropped the better.
