    For those that have watched him: how would he work with Balde? I've always thought if Hooper left we'd be crying out for a penalty box striker. Would we be left with two target men?

    I would not say he is a target man. At 6ft he has strength and is decent in the air but at the same time he is a good finisher like Hooper.

    the quotes could mean anyone, i sincerely hope its the young american guy, Juan Agudelo and i think the point lennon made on the progress being slow would make more sense to this guy, as transfers from the mls are usually frought with peculiar details etc.

    I doubt it's Agudelo, he moved to New England Revolution about 2 months ago (probably less). Plus it's the middle of the MLS season, could maybe see us getting him in January though.

    As much as I would love this, this is just guess work from journalists. A few quotes from lennon about a striker he has wanted for a while and the mail goes with Rudnevs and the sun goes with Doyle.....Which will it be? Probably none of them !

    Defo could have done with this against juve in the last 16 tho!

    I'll always remember his screamer against Juve in the Europa league im sure a few years back for Lech. Absolute screamer, then we were linked with him and then kept an eye on him when watched bundesliga highlights on itv.

    doesnt make any difference, hes drafted to them, we buy his contract from the mls, he could have moved yesterday and we could still buy him
