    Not particularly.

This is the view of a Dutch fella on another forum I post on when asked about him.

"On his league performances: He's been decent this season, but finds it hard to play a consistent role of importance for NAC Breda. Still, it's an improvement from his league form before, when he was utter tosh.

He's a bit slow, and usually has a hard time finishing accurately.

I don't think he'll ever make it to the big stage. Maybe a Championship club?"

Two Barclays Premier League clubs have made offers for Holland Under-21 star Maceo Rigters, according to the striker's current employers.
Blackburn, Celtic, Newcastle and Rangers have all been linked with the 23-year-old forward, but NAC Breda director of football Earnie Stewart insists he has had no bid from either of the Glasgow giants.
He told BBC Sport: "I can confirm that neither Celtic, nor Rangers, have bid for Maceo Rigters.
"The only two offers have come from the English Premiership."
Stewart did confirm Celtic had formally expressed an interest in the striker but that Rangers had not been in touch.
Rigters scored four times as Holland retained their European Under-21 crown earlier this month.
Breda had hoped to negotiate a new contract but will now make him aware of the interest from Britain.
Rigters' agent had previously claimed five clubs had made firm offers for the player.
But Stewart said: "If Maceo and/or his agent want to reveal the clubs, that's a matter for them, but NAC Breda won't comment other than to confirm there have been two English bids for him."
Agent Frank Schouter said: "I think NAC are now in a position of strength with so many bidders.
"We are just waiting for NAC to tell us which clubs we can talk to and that is likely to happen on Monday."

What a pathetic wee *, enjoy struggling in the lower half of the premiership table. It's a shame so many players are so narrow minded and greedy. Oh well, it's his career down the drain...

Just shows the ambition of Ritgers must be quite low as Blackburn are * and will never win anything again! Shockin' when a player thinks that Blackburn are bigger than Celtic-money grabbin' wee * just like that * Maloney! :31:

    Blackburn seal swoop for Rigters

[IMG] Rigters has signed a four-year deal with Blackburn

Blackburn Rovers have won the race to sign NAC Breda striker Maceo Rigters.
The Dutch frontman, who starred for Holland as they won the Under-21 European Championships in June, has signed a four-year deal at Ewood Park.
Rigters, 23, had been linked with a host of British clubs including Celtic, Rangers, Newcastle and Norwich City.
He was due to travel to Glasgow for signing talks with Celtic on Tuesday, but instead signed for Blackburn for an undisclosed fee. Rigters' goals in the Under-21 European Championships were enough to give him the golden boot as the tournament's top scorer. A product of Ajax's youth academy, he has also played for Heerenveen and FC Dordrecht before joining NAC Breda in 2004.

Didn't even get to the stage of speaking to us!!
Oh well * him, he can join that other previous Celtic target Benni McCarthy in the UEFA Cup & top half of EPL, but nowhere near the Top spot.

I wanted him because he represented such good value, oh well the scouts just need to get out more & do their job better.

Oh well he will probably look good in the Blackburn team ,the best he could have hoped for with us is a place on the bench at the most :50:

See who scores the most in EPL this season:
    Rigters or Stokes.
Both could've played in CL for us.
Ah well, good luck to them I suppose.
Be intersting to see how they turn out, I wanted to us to sign them both!
